who would possibly at that exact time and place be able to get their hands on someone else's receipt.
I know you all want him to be responsible for this, but come on now.
this is a very small country town.
the truth is the truth whether it fits anyones narrative or not.

I don't think its a matter of wanting it to be him. I actually dont think he was responsible. I think its more a paper receipt could be anyone eating there? It may prove Marg was at the cafe that morning but with who? with perhaps a friend? I just went and had breakfast at the cafe at the beach this morning with a friend whilst my husband was at work and I did get the receipt after paying with my card. But how does anyone prove it was my friend there and not my husband 4-5 years later? That is my line of thinking.

Ive never thought he did anything from day one, just got dragged into it for numerous reasons.

Mr Spedding told Mr Jubelin in the video he and Margaret left the cafe about 10.20am to walk to the assembly. @10Daily @10NewsFirst

Did Marg say they left Buzz shortly before 10.00am?

The receipt was dated 12 September 2014, the day of William’s disappearance.
It was time-stamped 9.42am.
Mrs Spedding confirmed that her husband, Bill, had ordered morning tea from counter of the Buzz Cafe Laurieton, and that she’d sat down to enjoy the meal with him.

The Buzz Cafe is a 20-minute drive from Kendall, where William was staying with his foster parents when he went missing.

Mrs Spedding said she left the Buzz Cafe with Bill shortly before 10am, and went across to the small school directly across the road from Buzz Cafe to see one of their grandkids get a special award from the principal.

The court is shown another entry in Mr Spedding’s diary for September 12 for the school assembly at 10am. He told the court he had moved his appointments around that day to make it to the assembly. @10NewsFirst @10Daily

Mr Spedding confirmed his wife’s account of the morning of September 12, telling the court he walked the children to school before meeting her at a cafe around 9.30am for coffee. He said they then walked across the road to the school assembly together. @10NewsFirst @10Daily
How far away is cafe to school ?

So that gave them plenty of time to find an inside seat

I get you musso, just realistically if marg has proof of purchase than that's it proof of purchase.
she had coffee and cake there and she states her husband joined her.
with receipt that's enough for LE.
that's the way this stuff works.

she is verifying his wearabouts in a public place with lots of witnesses.
this is 100% provable or disprovable.

I think speddings alibi is clear and solid.

but that's just my speculation I have always had...as u all know!! :p

if nothing new incriminating comes to light throwing shade at him I see why the police now consider him a previous person of interest.

Yes you are right!

Thanx madoodi. Why would he say the laundry was seperate to the house unless there was another washing machine down in the garage.

Was it BS who fixed the machine or someone else doing work for him.

maybe the old washing machine leaked so was moved out of the inside laundry to an outside concrete floor?

The washer was in a laundry room which was accessible by its own exterior door, and was on its own, without having to enter any other rooms first, in order to get to the laundry room. BS may have meant it was kind of a stand-alone, which he entered and exited directly to and from, and likely never entered nor even saw any other areas inside the home. jmo.

O and hang on..wait for coffee to be made ????
They could have paid for the coffee on the way out I guess...What time did they get there? I thought it was not to long after 9am.

Edit... I see if was 9.30 they were meeting there.

As you were!

That laundry is inside the house.
See photo 10.

Property Report for 48 Benaroon Drive, Kendall NSW 2439

The laundry opens up to the verandah that that last ever photo of William was taken. IMO the laundry can be closed off from the house, in other words it is accessible from the outside as well as the inside. The FGM may have closed the internal door that goes into the house and had BS come in from the outside so that he didnt have to enter the actual home other than the laundry from the outside, I ask my trades to do same thing so they dont have to take shoes off to come in my house for something needed in the laundry, easier to tell them to meet me out back. But thats just me.

Because of the separate entrance via the back porch? I think he's making the point that he didn't go through the house. I don't think there was another washing machine; if they were both broken wouldn't he have been asked to see to both of them?, and if only one was broken, the washing wouldn't have been piling up. You can't explain his ignorance by saying someone else did the job; he spoke to police there on the second visit.

Edit: yeah, I think that horse is dead. Sorry.
