IMO there’s been some sort of power games going on in this investigation right from the start.
All the changes to the lead investigators -
first Fehon (not sure why he left - promoted? I know he is now a superintendent) then Jubelin and now David Laidlaw. I think it’s kind of ridiculous actually that the victims family don’t have continuity,
Williams case has suffered - that is obvious to me from the shambles of an inquest. It’s like a boat with too many captains - it keeps changing directions.
Oh he’s lost / no he’s kidnapped/ it’s a paedophile ring / it’s not a paedophile ring/ it’s a washing machine man/ but it’s not him either/it’s a neighbour oh but wait he can’t be a suspect cos he didn’t have line of sight lol and now this dirtbag Donohoe - we’ve never heard of him.
The inquest is like watching a really boring frustrating movie waiting for something to happen and it never does.

Long time reader/thread follower, but first time poster. I was surprised to see recently that William's sister is now named in MSM, surely that isn't permitted?

Personally, I have always thought that Jones is far too explosive and erratic to have not been caught by now, if he took William.

He has had 90+ arrests. He is not the sharpest tool in the tool shed.

Hi spid. Lindsay is not William's sister's name. It is a pseudonym that Caroline Overington (the journo who wrote that article) has adopted for her.

He hasn't been cleared by the coroner or the police as yet. I highly doubt this man is squeaky clean, regardless of if he was involved in this case his past is murky.

Same goes for the foster parents and bio parents who actually were “ officially cleared “ by police not just msm. Do you have a link to say he is officially cleared. I’m not saying he is guilty as at this point I don’t think he is

At the end of the inquest, do they make a clear determination?

They could make an 'open' declaration. No finding.
But it sounds as if the inquest will likely continue in November, so it will go on hold until then (after this week).

They can't make any determination until they have questioned everyone that they want to question.

Once they have done that, the determination will be that they find William was likely abducted by 'persons known' (they will tell just the police who that is) and recommend prosecution.
Or they will find he was taken by persons unknown.
Or they will find he was lost in the bush and is likely deceased.
Or it will be an open finding ... meaning they can't work out what has happened.
Or they will send police off to investigate certain matters, and will reconvene after that.

Of course, if someone is arrested before November there will be no further inquest.

And as far as being charged by police, they do not follow presumption of innocence per say, it's up to to judicial process?

I hope the court/coroner/police look at the WFW fb page and take action for all the posters that name the NPO people in this case. It’s a disgrace
