I think the point is, she had no way to get the current day's paper that early in the morning.

It might be a paper the family brought with them for the previous day. Or, as suggested, it could be the local one that's delivered in many places and is largely dedicated to real estate advertisements (in my general experience).
That picture was supposedly taken at around 9.30 am. Not too early for a paper to be delivered. IMO

I don’t read the comments that way at all. I am not suggesting for a moment that the photos are fake. What I am suggesting is that usually the paper ( at least where I live) is delivered very early. Maybe there was a paper delivery. And if not, why was she reading an old newspaper. I could go on with questions about the newspaper.
I’m sitting here reading my Bunnings catalogue I received 2 days ago.

The free ones are usually weekly. So, not having come off the press the previous night doesn't make them "old".

Maybe she reads more than one paper?

The elderly tend to have papers delivered, they don't use the internet to get their news. Old habits die hard.

Well I didn’t expect anything less Fromm you bottomline......Maybe the problem is that my thoughts are not in line with yours. You need to explain further.
Explain what further. Sorry I’m lost

With the time on the photo fm said she never bothered to set the time so it was some random time that was in the camera when purchased. If they had released the photo with the incorrect time on it it would have been a scandal. Could it just be that the camera had the time setting adjusted before the photo was released (maybe even by police) and all the photos on the camera were automatically adjusted? I understand checking it but I don’t see it as being some gotcha moment. And don’t forget they’re not involving GJ who would probably have an explanation as to why the time difference was accepted. IMO

IMO what is being suggested, is that the pic's are fake and FGM is reading an old newspaper.

Also IMO, the 'sighting' is about a post on FB, one of many that appear when William is in the news.

I would ignore it.
Probably what the police did with Ron Chapman..ignore it? If thats the way people think then its no wonder that no one will come forward and say what they know..no matter how big or how small just report it keeps getting said

Well we will soon find out what the explanation is. Personally I think that there is a rational explanation for the differences in time, but this should have been investigated early in the investigation, makes me wonder what else has been glossed over....IMO.

Interesting. I can only say that for many elderly people they still have the paper delivered. For many others they only read the local rag in paper form and usually when it is delivered immediately. Therefore, was it delivered that morning before William disappeared? If not, why was she reading it shortly after getting up when she had visitors? I’m not implying anything but it seems it should have been investigated. But maybe it was?.. but who knows!

You know, I’m gobsmacked? This case has to be up there with the Lynd cafe debacle....to think we place so much trust and confidence in the police and authorities to do the right thing. IMO.
