2nd last paragraph
He stopped to pick up the newspaper

So? He probably wanted a different paper.

Most things can be easily explained and probably have been, the Police are trained to investigate, I wish others commenting that they are inept had the same qualifications.

All im trying to say is the photo is at 9.37...ff hasnt returned with the paper yet..so it must be an old one and shes reading it again and waiting for him to come back with it?

Probably what the police did with Ron Chapman..ignore it? If thats the way people think then its no wonder that no one will come forward and say what they know..no matter how big or how small just report it keeps getting said

As you said, reporting any knowledge is important. Reporting does not involve posting to Facebook. Crimestoppers and the police are the place to go if someone thinks they have useful information and the only way police are able to follow anything up.

Sounds like a logical explanation.

You know, I’m gobsmacked? This case has to be up there with the Lynd cafe debacle....to think we place so much trust and confidence in the police and authorities to do the right thing. IMO.

Most likely

This is a new article today, even though most is the same as we have already heard - it says that: "The claim is set to be filed next week."

Even though Mr Spedding seems to be cleared, IMO filing at this stage would be a little premature.

Who know's JLZ, the questioning was around Mr Owen being contacted to repair some decking for the FGM.

Mr Owen had done previous plumbing work @ the FGM's house in june 2014. She contacted him about the repairs to the decking on 8/9/14 & he went & looked at the decking the same day. He went home & worked out a quote & contacted the FGM again that afternoon with quote.

Mr Owen was not very well at this time & was awaiting a date for surgery. He ended up in hospital on the 18/9/14.

He was asked at the inquest if he was familiar with a man named FA & he said yes he lived in a caravan up the road from him. He was than asked if he was aware that he was also a bit of a " jack of all trades" , which he replied " sort off"

Then he was questioned around weather he had arranged for FA to do some of his work whilst he was unavailable.

He said he had no confidence in FA & wouldn't get him to do work for him.

The coroner asked him if they ever did work together & he replied " noting worth mentioning , put it that way "

Mr Owen had a mazda 626

Mr Owen eventually repaired the deck in oct/ 14

His evidence ended here & he is to be called again to complete his evidence...........

Considering the line of questioning, it sounds as if Abbott had told someone he was doing work for Owen.

Has it perhaps been discovered that Abbott was in the area on 12/9/14? We know that Geoff Owen was.

Trying to work out what Mr Craddock was trying to verify with the questions he was asking.
