I know I’m going to get grilled from this post BUT the only thing I would pluck out of the timeline is when the fm takes her mothers car to search for William. Now from previous timelines I’m estimating this to be around 10:45 as it was after ff got hone and before 000 call. Fm drove to the riding school which is 1 street away from Mr Chapman’s house in Laurel St who claims he saw William unrestrained in a car at roughly the same time. Sorry but I’m just trying to cover all bases
We talked about the location of the riding school. Now I may have this back to front but I think at the time the riding school was south of Benaroon Drive, not near Mr Chapman.

"Mr Savage said when he went across the street, William's foster grandmother had told him his foster mother had gone inside to make a cup of tea "and she came out and noticed the little boy was missing".

"She immediately did what anyone would do, she ran out looking for him," he said.'
Tyrrell neighbour faced damaging questions

This came up at the inquest & was not in any of PS's statements................

Someone posted a week or so ago about community searchers arriving on horseback. I hope that wasn't the first day. What hope would the dogs have had trying to track the delicate scent of a tiny clean child after horses had been over it?

Sorry for barging in on the flow. I was looking back in Thread #1 for something else when I stumbled on this:

"In answer to a commenter's question about William possibly having bare feet with his spiderman outfit ... the SES have stated that he had sandals on.

William did not have sandals or any footware on in the pic that was taken that morning. Anyone know if this has been addressed in the timeframe?

They were put on before he started running around.

MSM reporting in the first couple of years, has created so many 'problems'. There was so much misreporting compared to what has been said at the inquest.

Exactly!
Can you confirm this with a link or is it hearsay? I haven't heard this before.

Not heard that also & nothing mentioned of this at the inquest ...........

Panic - not looking at her watch etc etc.

Maybe she didn't even wear a watch??

Anything is possible that’s for sure. This upcoming inquest I’m hoping will bring forth new information and evidence and revisit early information which would mean calling the fm back to the stand to testify once again. As the fm was the last person to see William Tyrrell alive I expect her to be called upon for further clarification on obvious discrepancies before the coroner makes any final judgment. In fact I expect nothing less. No stone left unturned means just that!!!!!

This seems to be the MFC's evidence at the inquest:

"He left the house at around 9am on the morning of William’s disappearance, in his “fairly new” 4WD.

He told the court he needed to conduct a business meeting by Skype, in an area with a better internet connection.

He sent a text from the car shortly after 10am, saying he’d be home in five minutes.

He pulled into the drive, and his wife — William’s foster mum — asked him: “is William with you?”

He replied: “No, why would he be with me?”

When his wife said she couldn’t find the boy, he “very quickly” started moving.

“You didn’t stop and have a conversation with her about where she had already searched? Is there any reason for that?” said the counsel assisting, Gerard Craddock SC.

“I went the path of least resistance,” the man replied.

“I searched every day,” he said. “Every day. My wife and her mother stayed home (caring for William’s sister) I went every day.

“I had to do what I had to do. I had to keep searching.”

The court was shown an aerial scene, which showed the house in which William had been staying.

It is on a corner block, and set well back from the street.

The street becomes a dirt trail, which leads up to the local bush cemetery.

That trail is four wheel drive only.

“Did you believe that William was out there somewhere, and that you’d find him?” Mr Craddock said.

“I had hope. I had hope,” the man replied, but he didn’t believe so small a boy could negotiate the trail up to the cemetery.

“Did you search around the cemetery?”

On several occasions.”
BBM
So if this is correct, he was back around 10.05am according to this and WT was already missing! This is different to what we have heard so far.

He searched around the cemetery "on several occasions", so he was not as convinced as some people are that WT wouldn't have gone there.

Did he remember any of the neighbours that he spoke to?

The FGM looked pretty engrossed in the newspaper she was reading.

It was a valid question to ask.

Why did she stutter to answer?

Now in hindsight it seems all so cockeyed doesn’t it JLZ but at the time it looked just like a lost child. It had us Websleuthers all fooled.

What photos/footage of this are you referring to?
