I am curious too how old is bio sister. It's been 7 years, so 12?
Would her recollections be reliable so many years later?
Part of my mind is furious if it was the FF, how on earth did the LE miss it?

The NSW coroner subpoenaed all notes, audio recordings and materials of a Channel 10 journalist who produced a podcast about William Tyrrell's disappearance.

Ten News reporter Lia Harris produced the 'Where's William Tyrrell?' podcast three years ago which uncovered new information about the child's baffling disappearance.

It remains unclear what detectives are hoping to find in the popular podcast series but Harris said the legal notice to hand over all her information while researching the podcast came as 'a bit of a surprise'.

'They have asked for a broad range of things related to the podcast - documents, audio, all of that is encompassed in the subpoena,' she said.

'It seems that they just want to know whatever we know about the case. They want to know whatever we have discovered in researching the podcast and they want us to hand it all over to them.

'They've obviously got some new direction, some new strategy which has led them to issuing this subpoena after all this time.'

I remember that---and I remember the discussion about the 'possible' bruise seen. And my gut instinct was that toddlers get bruises---mine did for sure because they were very active and fearless. I defended the parents back then, saying my son had bruises when he was 3 also....

No, and that’s what people are implying. This AVO may be there JUST BECAUSE they’re now the main POI’s. Whether or not there was really an incident here, who knows

Would they need an AVO to remove her in that circumstance? I think they'd just whisk her away.

I personally do not believe William's environment with his biological mother was in any way unsafe.

My consideration is that Lindsay - a pseudonym William's sister was named previously by a Court judge, had been removed by welfare authorities who then informed NSW Police investigators dealing with William's case. It is possible the welfare authorities were contacted by the primary school she attended.

Insinuations or accusations against the foster parents are still off limits. There is no direct quote from LE where they have officially been named as POIs. Until I can speak with Tricia, they are off limits. We may make a thread specific exception but at this point I have no way of speaking with her. I think she sleeps occasionally too

If Moderators come on in the morning (only a few hours from now) and there are a ton of violations in this discussion, there will be some Thread Bans or minimum 1 week Time Outs issued, and it may result in lengthy thread closures while clean-up has to take place.

They never really had me convinced. I'm not accusing them of anything, I just never found them (especially the FFC) particularly compelling. The 000 call was very ... cold.

Because they interviewed the FFC, right? I wonder if that's why. If they want to go over everything she said with a fine tooth comb.

I remember that---and I remember the discussion about the 'possible' bruise seen. And my gut instinct was that toddlers get bruises---mine did for sure because they were very active and fearless. I defended the parents back then, saying my son had bruises when he was 3 also....

I've worked with preschoolers. Bruising on the apple of the cheek isn't uncommon, happens pretty easily and wouldn't be on my radar at all, in the absence of other bruising. I've never seen bruising directly under the eye like on WT in that photo from regular playing accidents or incidents between children. Not saying it's impossible, I'm just saying what's my experience.

Same tbh. He wasn't removed because his bio parents did anything to the kids, it was because they were fighting each other or something AFAIK. And their younger children have never been removed.
