I’ve been following these threads for a long time. I have always wondered how MFC’s 4G/internet reception on his phone was good enough for William to watch cartoons on the morning of his disappearance, but not good enough for a Skype call. I can’t imagine a 3yo having the patience to watch something that was constantly buffering. Was it an excuse for a trip to town for some reason?
I can’t recall what streaming options we had back in 2014 on smartphones. Trying to think how else he may have been watching.

Possibly a previously saved or downloaded video, very possible.

Or a rented one, or bought in a physical store.

That's how most things were watched in those days.
I remember reading that the cartoons were watched on the MFC’s phone while they were in bed waiting for the FFC’s mother to wake up. So unlikely to be purchased or rented in a physical store.
Perhaps they had previously purchased some favourite cartoons off iTunes and had them saved to the device.
I’d love to know.

Quite possible to download from sites in those days, I used to see many people watching shows on the train, on their Ipads and phones, a few years prior to that. And god knows that there wasn't great phone reception on the trains in my area.

Yes, quite possible, but what theory would account for the phone being tracked as leaving Benaroon at 09:30am ???

When FF had already been captured on CCTV leaving before 9am???

How can it be explained ????

Or who left the property at 09:30am ??? And how???

All ideas / theories welcome for discussion ….

seem to be cosy still:

It must have been different then in my area, central west NSW.
With the buffering it was annoying to try and watch anything.

This was some time ago, Candice is just catching up IMO.

I think she's confused with the one in this video @ 1:09 that doesn't look to be a wetsuit IMO looks more like a sunsuit.

Probably not Tootsie, streaming is one thing (and you would be buffering a lot) but if you download it beforehand you don't need internet, it's stored on your device and you can watch without internet.

BBM

The Daily Telegraph also reported that Police had identified gaps in the timeline of the Foster Mother that day……

Reference: (Paywall)

Thanks. Not exactly "throwing out the timeline" then. I didn't think so.

Gaps in the timeline that support their case, is what the police "claim" - according to the article.

Be interesting to know what gaps they think could be there, considering the very tight timeline that morning.

The article seems to say that their submission to the DPP involves a fall from the balcony, driving on the bush road, dumping William near the riding school, and gaps.

The parents still download to their phones for the kids.

I know two sets of parents who fire up downloaded programs on their phones when they need to keep the little ones entertained for a bit. No streaming involved.

It is one of the quick comfort/distraction items they have, among the crackers and raisins and water bottles.

"Someone" told the DM that it belonged to William.
Who is so obsessed with this family that they surreptitiously follow their every move? ;)

Yes you're right Sleep.

I think I was thinking of times a bit earlier than when poor William went missing,

Back when I first went "online" and I was using the World Wide Web, before the Internet existed.
then the early days with very slow speeds and expensive plans.

We used to call the the World Wide Web, the World Wide Wait.

I remember when pictures took a couple of minutes to load. You'd go off and make coffee etc while you were waiting.
Or you'd watch as the top of someone's head appeared, then the face SLOWLY started appearing :)

Core memory unlocked!

youd think theyd just bundle all this stuff up and give it to vinnies! it would draw less attention to them and stop nosy people buying it, im sure the small amount of money made isnt going to make much difference!

Could the wetsuit have received DNA testing that might have been useful in this case. Knowing nothing of methods used in that testing, I am just posing this question. MOO

I am sure their legal bills are getting quite steep.

Not only that, I personally know a man (family), via work, who is now extremely wealthy but was raised in a family who didn't have much money. He does a similar thing - sells an item if it is still good. Gets perturbed if his sons keep forgetting to turn lights off when they leave a room, etc. It is an inbuilt mentality.

His wife being the opposite, very giving. She would offer to pay for someone's motel accommodation like FM did. Opposites attract.

imo

It could just be that the item sold.

If you wish to mark your vehicle as "Sold »:
  • Go to your Inventory tab
  • Select the listing and select the "Mark sold" option in the "More Actions" dropdown box on the right, next to the orange buttons.
  • A pop-up will appear prompting you to validate your action.
  • « OK »
  • Your ad has been marked as Sold.

Alternatively, if you prefer to remove your listing, proceed the same as above but select the « Remove Listing » option instead.
  • A pop-up will appear prompting you to validate your action.
  • Click « OK »
  • Your ad has been removed.

I cannot possibly perceive how she could cover up an accidental murder or keep up a facade for this long. It's just too inconceivable to me.
Admit I've been alarmed by her composure and attention to detail (in the 911 call and interviews) but think that's got to be her character.
On one hand, looking at all the facts we know, it's like trying to force pieces into a puzzle that simply don't or won't fit - because there is no/or not enough evidence.
However on the other hand, her demeanor throughout the investigation has been questionable and some of the inconsistencies in her statements highly suspicious. This makes her seem dishonest as a person.
Yet that alone proves nothing.

I've always thought FD should've been removed immediately and hate that the early stages of the investigation has bungled this case.
How on earth does a boy simply vanish????

IMO if that photo was determined to be taken at 7:39 surely she'd have already been charged. The FF timeline also appears to be too airtight, to establish any involvement.
Can't quite put my finger on it but the "Mummy Monster" quote (from the game) has always stood out to me. It's a little unsettling for some reason.

Enjoy reading everyone's contributions on here and feel the same as everyone else. This is also one mystery I would love to see solved in my lifetime. It would be so heartbreaking otherwise.

Anywho I'll be anticipating further updates with you guys. some type of progress is made soon.
