No, AMS wasn't heard....... the FM said that there was a lady out helping them look for him and she would see if she could find her
Can probably chalk it up to unreliable then, if the sole POI said it

See this image … it is much clearer … look at the Bottom Right Hand Corner
a red line around the Riding School and 2 names are visible of who searched that area … and we know that W Hudson‘s sons assisted with the search on Day 1 ….. it is a shame the rest has been cut off …

Sorry I don’t know how to post it any clearer??

I have enlarged the bottom right hand corner

Where did the white writing come from?
That wasn't on the original picture released (nor were the red boundary lines) ?

Yes that is from a CLEAR original …..It is on the search map …

I am definitely not computer savvy enough to fudge a picture …. Especially when i can’t even get the original to post clearly …..

I just used my iPad to enlarge the bottom right hand corner of the original search map and did a screen shot ….

And you can see Wendy Hudson’s son’s name along with a Sen Constable …
We also know that Wendy Hudson’s sons assisted with the search on day 1.
(That can be checked in C Overington’s Book )

See the image in this post, (below) and then blow up the bottom right hand corner, and you will see it too …

The search map appeared in multiple MSM articles. That particular one I saved because it was the clearest I'd seen. So no, it was not the 'original' in the sense of its first appearance, but it was not altered after its publication.

That's incorrect. The riding school area wasn't searched in the first search or the second search, as per your maps and others on this thread, along with police comments. The riding school was searched for the first time in 2021.

"9News understands specialists in uncovering and examining human bones are on their way to three sites near Kendall, areas which have previously never been searched in the seven-year mystery of what happened to William."

Link: Police 'looking for remains' as new William Tyrrell searches launched

JMO, If only it was searched the first time, the Foster Mother might have been the sole POI sooner and avoided wasting millions of taxpayer dollars and grifting off the public sympathy with the Where's William campaign.
You'd be discounting multiple 2014 MSM articles if you want to hold that the riding school was not searched before 2021. This is one (screen shot from Google search, I can't read past the paywall).

The FM said this in the 000 Call … it is recorded ….

Something I’m wondering about… what was in that ‘little boy lost’ doco that sky news removed because it’s now considered evidence… wish I still had that recording…

Yes but she said a lot of things on that call which are inconsistent. It would make it easier if AMS was heard on the call.

<modsnip: quoted post was removed> Do you specifically remember a mention at the inquest about the search of the riding school - in particular where the police were searching in 2021? (On the corner of Batar Ck Road and Cobb & Co?).

<modsnip: quoted post was removed> I just read the article and there's no mention of searching the riding school. The only specific given in the article is this

"Osteopath Peg Landon said each day William is missing the community changes more.
Her property was one of the first searched on the Friday.
She has mostly cleared land, but it backs on to the Kendall State Forest where William may have wandered."

Thanks, though.

We were interested in the riding school almost from the first. That's why we know where she and her partner lived.

I believe so...we were shown many maps, I have a reference of up to annexure 11 etc in my notes from Paul Berg ( Local Commander of the SES ) & Tim Williams ( Land & Search Co-ordinator ) who were on the scene by lunch time.

From 51 Benaroon Drive to the corner of Batar Creek Rd & Cobb & Co Rd is only 1.1kms & I remember the search in the initial days / week being at least up till 3km radius from memory

Today the search area was extended to a three-kilometre radius from the grandmother's house, while trail bikes and four-wheel drives will look beyond that area.

On the subject of search locations in 2021, the map in this article may be of interest as pointing to a spot at the far south-west corner of the riding school zone. Missing William Tyrrell: Foster parents named 'persons of interest' as police seek AVO against them - Internewscast I don't know how much precision can be assumed. But zooming in on Sixmaps, there is a dam right there. It's very likely the dam itself--and some others nearby--were not searched in 2014.

According to this article the initial search area was a 1.5km diameter then expanded to 3km.

16 September 2014
“Police Superintendent Paul Fehon said investigators would be revisiting ground already covered in the search.

"Yesterday they covered and recovered over the 1.5-kilometre diameter area around where William was last seen and today we'll be expanding that thorough search out to three kilometres," he said.

"Our investigative teams have been bolstered. We have 30 investigators out there working.

"They will be conducting canvasses of the areas and they will be following up on any information that has been provided to us."

The Port News article says ... 'She and husband invited searchers to check sheds and dams immediately'.

paring it back to actual facts, if the back porch photo is suspect, the last verifiable sighting of william was at mcdonalds the night before and his scent found in the grandmothers driveway, so the timeline could be much earlier

Aside: A dam is a very bad place to dispose of a body unless the stomach is well-pierced and the corpse very well weighed down. Many a crim has made that mistake.
