Do you know where his association with FA started ?

There is a DT article that states that MP met FA when a relative introduced them around 2007, as per MP's inquest testimony.

There is a Lia Harris tweet from the inquest, back in the threads, (I read it very recently) that states that the relative that introduced MP to FA was infact DP .….

DP and FA have been friends longer than MP and FA ….

I can’t find the actual tweet, ATM, but there is another post that references the introduction of MP to FA was by D Parish…

Martin Parish is now on the stand, he’s a local chaplain who lived on Herons Creek Rd. The court heard he met Frank Abbott through his brother Daniel Parish in 2007.

I realise it is nearly 10 years too late …. But it may be a good reference thread for all of the Inquest Court Tweets, and articles regarding evidence etc

I was just reading an article behind a paywall (The Telegraph) and may have stumbled on to the reason the Parish brothers don't get on ....?? It states that in 2015 Abbott was charged with a sexual offence against a child at the minister's relative’s home and was refused bail.

I wonder could that give rise to some sort of ‘hold’ that FA may have over him.
I don’t dispute the efforts of MP to assist & rehabilitate those who own their previous misdemeanours & who need support to make the changes they want to achieve ( I’ve family who do similar) however there’s a ‘line’ - and it strikes me as a stretch for a Minister to go to bat for someone with a very questionable ‘sexual crimes’ history & a boastful ‘Teflon coating’.

In summary, and IMO, NSWPOL only had a matter of months to investigate RP’s claims before he passed away ….

Was the media release of discounting FM claims of seeing the 2 cars on Benaroon, by NSWPOL, an attempt / strategy to remove the cars from discussion as they had identified at least one of them … ????

Were they trying to get RP on the stand before he died???, with the directions hearing called at the end of April, 2019, and scheduling the next tranche for August 5????

I had wondered if putting these references in chronological order may have revealed some other clues …. ??? But maybe not ….???

Hard to know what the Police investigated about that report… they didn’t call her as a witness, as far as we know??? She may not have even made a note about the report???

However, we do know that the Police obviously knew and were investigating RP by July 2019, and possibly “applying pressure” by the way the article is written …

There were a couple of other nursing home staff who testified also.

RJ (nurse) who said that she felt RP was trying to talk to her about "the little boy" but his visitors shut him up. (I think the visitors were maybe Patrick Teeling and wife, they said they used to visit RP, and they didn't seem particularly forthcoming at the inquest.)

And TS (service manager) who said she called the police after the conversation was reported to her. This must be the facilities manager that KO said she also told, when Carol didn't do anything.
