I am really sickened by the way they can affect investigative reporting. Ch7 pulling down their two-part report about FA, Lia Harris' podcast being pulled down. All to push a specific narrative.

I remember Scott Cook stonewalling Hedley Thomas saying his podcast could interfere in the police investigation against Dawson. When there wasn't any further investigation, or intention to prosecute Dawson.

William Tyrrell is buried near the “Bird Tree” on the New South Wales Mid North Coast, according to disputed claims that were never heard during an inquest into the three-year-old’s disappearance.​

The claims were allegedly made by the brother of a convicted pedophile who was named a “person of interest” to the investigation.
Standing in deep forest around Middle Brother mountain, it is one of a pair of giant eucalyptus trees, with the other known as Benaroon.
William vanished from Benaroon Drive, which is a roughly 20-minute drive from the two trees, although the area has not been searched by police.

Benaroon is rated as the largest Blackbutt in Australia and has a girth of 15 metres. Bird Tree, is 69 metres high, with a girth of 11 metres. Scientists estimate these trees predate the arrival of Captain Cook to Australia. The Bird Tree day-use area provides a loop walk past the two giant trees. This park is home to the largest and highest of the Three Brother Mountains in the Camden Haven region of the New South Wales mid-north coast. Middle Brother or Yoorigan stands 558 metres above sea level and is a dominant feature when travelling the Pacific Highway. The summit of Middle Brother is a mecca for paragliders and hang gliders. I seem to remember a member looking into this area years ago on the threads. It came up at the time when pink graffiti was found on a stump in that forest in relation to WT. The member had been looking at any other missing children cases and seen that a child had disappeared for about 12 hours on a John's river property the year before. Although it was seen as the child wandering and getting lost, the similarities were that he was of similar age to WT, the family was visiting the property for an appointment, near his older sister, it was a Friday around 10.30-11 am, many of the volunteers in the search were also in the search for WT.

The member triangulated Benaroon dr, the John's River property and some other point and was surprised to find the bird tree right in the middle of all three points in Middle Brother forest. Anyone else recollect these discussions and what thread this might be in?

Well yeah. 2 people close to FA.

Alot of the witnesses at the inquest gave evidence that FA bragged about " getting of a murder" frequently. Many seemed to be scared / wary/ " you don't want to get on the wrong side of Frank" etc. It was widely known to " keep your kids away from FA & not leave them alone with him"

I genuinely think people tried to distance themselves from FA, not upset him etc. So maybe giving a death bed confession is a way for people speaking up knowing FA can't "get them etc"

I've never been able to understand how FA has been able to be "cleared" , if he has & also I've never been able to understand how he never got to give evidence at the inquest, with no reason given.

We heard from so many witnesses in the Taree sessions speak to his character, he is vile , evil, cunning, takes advantage of people, uses people for his gains.

How he was able to have access to the brief ( I believe he did as per many of his questions to witnesses ) be able to cross examine who ever he wanted ( and he was given a lot of leeway also & repeatedly told by the Coroner that his time would come to give evidence )

Now we hear that the Coroner has a NPO over her reason, I just have more questions now.

She saw the member write about it first on here and joined the discussion on here because some of her extended family lived on that property. She wrote about the other missing child at the beginning of her book and her experience about him being found but no she didn't really add anything to investigating the bird tree site on this forum.
