Another thing to think about (and I'm not saying this with ANY disrespect towards Adrienne at all), but is it possible that she was caught up in some kind of illegal activity? We all make mistakes at that age, could this be a personal attack towards her because of something she was involved in? I'm thinking it unlikely at this stage, but with so little information I'm trying to brainstorm all the possible scenarios.

Again, not bashing the victim at all. When I was her age I was caught up in some things I probably shouldn't have, but thankfully I got out and grew up without any serious consequences.

I find everything about this case odd. I'm putting it down to dodgy reporting and complete silence on LE's behalf. I don't like to say this, but could LE not be investigating this due to Adrienne's race? I've heard that AZ has a problem with illegal immigrants, and while Adrienne is not one of them, could this be effecting her case?

Forgive me if I'm way off on this, I don't live there so all I'm basing this on is hearsay.

GOSH!!!! I can understand why you pose the question but I really don't think this is the case. I do think they have been trying! But for me to say no illegal immigrants could be involved in it would be only presumptuous on my part. I'm sure every Hispanic family knows illegals or has family members who have come over illegally.

Listen, I'm not casting aspersions or judgement. Just stating what I have heard with nothing to back it up.

I would hope our LE wasn't racially discriminating!!!

They have had over 100 LE officials from state to federal on this case day in and day out since she disappeared. They are dedicated. They are paying attention. Adrienne's race has nothing to do with the investigation and Adrienne not being home yet. What went wrong is the lack of accurate info put out by the media. LE themselves have been very quiet about the specifics of this case, and probably for good reason. Either they simply know as much as we do or they can't release some info bc it will comprise the investigation IMO.

I would certainly hope so too. I didn't think there would be any truth in what I had posted, but sometimes I think it's important to ask. I've seen many cases where victims didn't seem to get much attention due to race, but it's hard to say whether it's because the media don't want to report on it or LE aren't investigating it with as much force as they do for other cases, KWIM?

But I would think in an area with such a high Hispanic population this wouldn't really come into play.

I don't think that's bashing her at all. I have already posed the question of what if she had a prior arrest or DUI and because of her wreck while drinking she took off to avoid arrest. Only supposition. Like you, covering every base I can.

Okay..... What about the rose tattoo? Any thoughts?

  • #427
Pursuing this even more now as it seems very relevant. Why are they not mentioning the much more obvious tattoo on her body? Why are they leaving this out?

  • #428
If you look at Adrienne's Instagram account you can see the rose tattoo in the 8th from the last photo she posted when she asked bf to tell new he belonged to her. It's very visible on her body. Much much more than the sun tattoo which I've never even seen.

Can you post the link to her Instagram please? I haven't looked at it yet, usually I'm at work when I'm here (thankfully today is Sunday, so no work today) so I haven't had a chance. Thanks in advance! :)

I saw that too; wondered why they hadn't mentioned it and thought maybe it was a "temporary"... now I'm going to go look at other photos.

Hey Sand! How can you tell it's not real? I don't know that much about tattoos but just wondering how you can tell.

Thanks Miss! I tried to register, but turns out I have an account already.

Looking through her Instagram is making me so sad. She really is SUCH a beautiful girl, she seems so fun and happy... just a regular 19 year old. It breaks my heart to think that she may never be coming home. :(

We NEED to find her.

ETA - The tattoo is temporary, which would explain why it hasn't been mentioned. ;)

Does anyone know if AS has another social media account besides FB or IG?

Also, something that keeps standing out is that the last person who had arrangements to see AS before her disappearance is the cabbie.
We know that the cabbie's father stated his son (the apparent driver sent to AS) was only 20 mins away, and based on the exchange of calls the cabbie seems to have taken twice as long to get to where she was supposed to be.
We also know that it has been reported that AS and the cabbie were supposed to meet up at AMPM- which seems unusual since she could have had the cabbie meet her at her apt complex.
Just another possibility that's been on my mind: What if adrienne actually did order the cab to her apt. The cabbie picked her up but didnt call her upon arrival. Did something to her. Then tried to cover his tracks by making it seem that he was supposed to meet her at AMPM and made those frantic 1 min apart phone exchanges himself. Just a thought!.. I'm wondering if LE has verified the info the cabbie gave as correct- perhaps with logs that were created right when the call came in from AS's phone.

I checked out the cabguy's (the company, not the actual driver) social media and feel a little turned off by some things. This seems to be the business's main FB page: https://www.facebook.com/#!/ScottsdaleCabGuy?fref=ts
The first thing that stood out is that their posts are all generic in nature and mostly regarding news (the 19 firefighters who recently passed, a happy 4th message, weather, etc) but no mention of their customer who disappeared before she was able to make her ride. Of course this could likely be because it'd bring a bad rep, but still....

This profile also turned up when I searched for the company: https://www.facebook.com/#!/scottsdale.cabguy.7
I tried looking under the "friends" to see if I could figure out who AS's driver was supposed to be that night, but wasnt successful. But, the many of the "friends" and "followers" made my gears turn (lots of beautiful women, and many people who seem to have media connections), although they could be easily explained.

Through the aforementioned FB profile I believe I located the owner's (AS's cabbie's father) personal page: https://www.facebook.com/phoenixnewsguy?fref=pb&hc_location=friends_tab#!/phoenixnewsguy
I found that the info in his "about" section was quite interesting (particularly what's visible after clicking "see all". It makes me wonder if he has connections that would help protect his company's reputation. The list of "followers" also is notable (to me at least).

I know the cabbie has been announced as not being a POI, but I'm just sharing this information because it may help foster new and relevant theories about AS's disappearance.

(Sorry if my thought process here seems choppy or this info seems unrelated. And PS PLEASE let me know if you think i violate TOS by sharing these links/theories... for some reason i feel hesitant to post this)

1) I've checked Vine, Twitter (Lots of Adrienne Salinas's there), Tumblr - so difficult because she could be using a variety of usernames (I do). Doesn't mean I'm not still tirelessly snooping.

2) I'm right there with ya on the "friends" on the FB pages. Very odd (but common thread seems to run through) mix. Indeed.

3) Your thought process is fine; you make some very valid points and a NEW theory as well!

Re: The speculation about the cartel. When Isabel Celis disappeared from her Tucson home, her bedroom no less, that's the biz that was going around Tucson. That her father was into dealings with the cartel and that's why she was taken, as a message.

So, if someone important in Adrienne's life has the same kind of background, it's not all that impossible to go in that direction in your speculation. JMO.
