i cant presume anything at this point, aside from confusion/

/// until those aunt comments are nullified, analyzed, or verified, i think that LE needs to answer to her comments, asap/

they are very strong, and perhaps she said them in a haste.. i noted the bro of a salinas responding to a troll comment, to the effect of 'yo thats my family, 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬' -which, is not that much of a paraphrase. read it yrself, people of the forum.

this isn't mensa, im starting to gather, her 'support' group.

the father isn't being mentioned on those aunt or salinas pages, because he must be rational and doesnt fit the status quo of bizarr world, that i keep stumbling across everytime i read those fb pages.

19. WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON w the aunts' fb page, and what is she talking about. is their some communication of a poi and tip that hasnt been responded to by LE, as noted on aunts page?

20. Did she have a cell phone charger at home or only one in the car? (That she might have headed back to retrieve?) or anything else in the car that she might have headed back for?

Hi illdigya! That's an interesting thought. What makes you think she may have gone back to the wrecked vehicle?

Have I missed something or are you just surmising? It has occurred to me too that maybe she wanted to go back for something she left in the car.

Goblin, ya know I was just thinking that with that 10K reward (probably more now) they might be getting a slew of calls with leads.

Maybe in their opinion they feel LE is taking too long to respond to them. I don't think for one minute that the officials involved in this case would not respond to what they felt was a 'solid lead'. In fact I am sure they are desperate for any information at all!

I don't think they are going to respond to that on her page. They may have contacted her privately already for all we know.

Hi MissD,

My first post on this thread was theorizing that maybe she went back to the apartment and then back to the car (or back to the accident scene) or even to AMPM and then back to either place.

I just keep thinking that her phone died and was trying to make those fit together by surmising that she was going to get her phone charger but it could have been for anything.

Thanks. I seem to recall that. So many posts, so many theories. And so many unanswered questions.

It would be interesting to know if her cell phone charger was in the car when it was found by her dad on Father's Day. If she's like most young people she probably had a charger in her car and one at her apartment so I personally doubt she would have gone back to get it out of her car.

And your question does lead me to wonder about something else. If she was at her apartment for any length of time and knowing her cell battery was getting low, you would think she would have charged it up. Same thing in the car.

So...this almost leaves me to believe she turned her phone off (or someone else did) rather than her battery just dying.

ETA: Hi illdigya! Enjoying your posts. Just saw your edit. :)

also, is there not a gofundme.com thing as well?

was the carwash donation put into the 10,000 donation?

it seems like there are distinctly different family members and even the friends, who cannot get on the same page in regards to fund raising.

i would be LIVID if anyone i knew went missing and would not ever post a lead or criticism of police, unless there was both.

so, when the aunt says those things, there are 2 things that happen. she is given benefit of doubt, and the police respond and she retracts those comments, or their is truth to it.

which is it?

Yes, there is the gofundme site and it's my understanding that the donations from there as well as the carwash and any other donations are all put into the same 'reward'. I don't think there is any funny business going on there at all. They have said there is full disclosure of all donations, etc.

I'm sure emotions are running high with the family, especially after all this time. It must be very difficult to keep their hopes up.

I don't know this for a fact, of course, but I would just surmise that after the Aunt losing her son last year to an unsolved murder, she may have some personal frustration with LE.

Maybe that's why she is lashing out in Adrienne's case. Not to be reduntant, but to be reduntant....there are probably lots of calls coming in with 'leads' wanting the reward. I'm sure it takes time to follow up on these.

Forgot to respond to this and I wanted to make sure I did.

I don't think LE is even looking at her FB page. JMHO

they should?
i mean, they are raising a real amount of money for some lead, i gather? why wouldnt LE be mindful or responsive to such a comment?

IF fb/insty isnt respected or noted by LE, they are missing out on how 90% of people communicate. its vital

Well if the cousins murderers have never been found, that really gets my stomach reeling as far as Adrienne is concerned.

I think if the crime rate is as high in Tempe as we have heard it is that LE is really busy trying to prevent and solve all kinds of crimes. I'm not saying social media isn't important because these days it really is. But what I really mean to say is that IMO they have other ways of contacting the family. Her immediate family. And that is probably her father and mother that they have the most direct contact with.

But again....JMHO.

Here's another thought for you:

If they suspect Adrienne took off on her own. And if this lead was of that nature. There is no law against running away in Arizona and what I have heard is that LE does not look for anyone that has run away, even in their early teens. Not if they suspect it is a runaway.

I just wanted to point that out. And her family probably knows this very well and this is one of the reasons they keep stressing that she was 'taken against her will'.

Also, they refer to " bringing her home". To me that indicates they believe she is somewhere other than the Tempe/Phoenix,Scottsdale (Valley area). At least this is how I interpret this.

I'm reading all kinds of things into that thread that might or might not be true.

Again....JMHO at work.

;)

It does give one pause to think.

Yes, I agree that it seems like a long time for her to get there. I had wondered about that too. That's why I posed the question of was it possible she might have had another collision prior to hitting the median, and that's where she got the front end damage.

I think I know where you are going with this. That someone else might have been in the car. This I discussed with Pooley. He says they fully believe she was alone and she was driving and she was hoping to avoid a DUI when she left.

Actually i wasn't going to say there was someone else In the car, but thanks for assuming that's where I was going with it.

I think someone let some air out of her tires so she wouldnt be able to leave the area that night. They set it up so they could ensure she would be in the area for when they intended to abduct her IMHO.

I think she was driving alone. I think she got her car back alone. I think she walked back to the apartment, and made it in - but the person stalking her/watching her saw her walk back into her complex. When they saw her leave for the AMPM they took the opportunity to abduct her.

And they might be the same ppl responsible for AS cousins murder. Who knows...

I want to say one thing here, because we are discussing LE so much right now. I personally have never had any problem with LE. I know there are all kinds of people here with different experiences in life and that this isn't true for everyone.

Mine have been positive. I know LE isn't perfect, but I have known lots more good cops than I have bad cops. And I think we have great LE here in AZ.

But then that's just my own opinion and experience.

I love your theories! You should consider writing mystery novels! I'm not kidding.

No seriously....anything at all is possible. At this stage nothing is too preposterous to be considered. And I don't mean to call your theory preposterous. When people turn up missing or dead, it always seems preposterous. Stranger things have happened.

:)

Plus if someone in her complex abducted her they'd probably want to wait until all the partygoers had left before abducting her. Perhaps this is why they waited to grab her until 5:06 am instead of grabbing her when she was walking into the complex around 4:00-4:30am when the partygoers were probably still straggling to leave?

(pulls hair out). The never ending theories!

About the Salinas family:

This is another thing that has drawn me so completely into this case. This family seems so genuine and so loving and so caring, not to mention very large and close family; and they are all into social media and communicating with each other in this fashion.

They are so open with their feelings and reaching out to the community to help them. One cannot help but relate if you are from this part of the country or Texas, where I grew up.

I love Hispanic people. They are the sweetest people I have ever known. And if you look at their friends accounts on FB and Instagram, they are also very beautiful people, very beautiful girls. Adrienne was a knockout!

I can see the Aunt, who lost her son, as being the one who is holding this family together by a thread. She has been through this before. She is exhausted and frustrated. And yet she is holding on and asking others to hold on.

My heart goes out to them. I bleed for them. They are in my prayers nightly.

All of them. Especially Adrienne.

OT kind of, but rewards really do not often solve this kind of a case. I can't think of any right now. And there are cases with rewards offered as high as $250k. It is tricky because most people with some knowledge also have some guilt.

Point taken, Cluciano. But I can understand the family wanting to raise a reward with hopes it would help.

Heck, even if your dog goes missing you post a reward.

Something is better than nothing.

But I'm glad you pointed it out. So you have never heard of a reward helping to locate a missing person? That's so interesting. Thanks!
