Can you back the witness reports up with an article?

Also please note that the only plausible way after she got onto ash for her to travel toward her apartment would be west 5th street , and why she then veered off course from 5th to Roosevelt and west brown I will never understand. If she would have continued down 5th that's the road leading West toward her apartment.

Those reports are well documented within these threads. There was no tow truck called or around when she was last seen walking. Police are not looking for a tow truck. Police are looking for a dark sedan that was seen on camera two minutes after she was seen on the exact same camera, and only a 10-15 second walk from her purported rendezvous location with a cab. This was well after the accident and well after she abandoned her car.

The car accident has nothing to do with this.

These are the 3 routes she could have taken from the wreck (purple pin) to her house (red pin) if she was wanting to drop her car at her house after the wreck and continuing on ash. (given the newest updated report).

(West brown and Roosevelt are out of the way from her place and are not en route IMO)

Wine time!

Guess I'll be running along for a little while now. I felt we were really getting somewhere. Maybe something will break soon and we can get back to our discussion w/o violating TOS. Hope so anyway!!!

Cheers!!!!!!

I've been following this thread for quite some time and I'm sorry but only reports I have seen from witnesses of Selenas that night besides friends and the bf is from the 911 caller.

We have not been provided such information about anyone directly seeing her leave her car at west brown and Roosevelt. Not one.

Again can you provide anything to corroborate this assertion that you are not claiming as theory or possibility, but rather as fact?

Im just asking for evidence/citation saying she was seen dropping her car on west brown and Roosevelt. Evidence from LE, not from a convoluted news source. I don't understand How this is offensive. I'm sorry. Didn't mean to offend. I honestly would like to know as its something I myself had not come across yet in all my time on this case.

And did you read the most recent updated article I posted? Many new things once again...

"The two left the party and argued as they drove to and from his Scottsdale apartment.
Arteaga then told officers when he came up to a stop light at 5th Street and Mill Avenue in Tempe, Salinas got out of his car and began walking home.
Arteaga says he also got out of the car to give Salinas her cell phone that she had left on the passenger seat of the car.
Arteaga then showed officers his phone records showing that he made a call shortly afterwards to one of Salinas’ roommates to tell them she was walking home.
The roommate, Rebecca Flores, told officers she went looking for Salinas on her bike but didn’t find her.
When Flores returned to their apartment, she found Salinas and said she was “calmly upset” over the argument with Arteaga.
After the two spoke outside on the grass, Salinas went upstairs to her bedroom and packed a small bag, though Flores did not see her leave.
Police said Salinas’ roommates were concerned because she never leaves without her dog or making sure someone is caring for her dog.
Also in the police report is the report of a driver who spotted a white car similar to Salinas’ white 2002 Mercury Sable driving erratically behind her.
The driver told officers she first noticed the car on Hardy Drive following extremely close.
As the driver turned onto Rio Salado Parkway, the driver of the white car sped up and again was following too close.
The white car then sped up to about 65 mph and passed her. Shortly afterwards when the woman turned at Ash Avenue and Rio Salado Parkway, she saw a “large amount of smoke from the tires and dirt in the air." She told officers the car had hit a curb, but when she stopped to help, the driver of the white car sped off “on damaged tires.”
Adrienne Salinas was last seen around 5 a.m. on June 15. Her vehicle, which had two flat tires, was later located by her father.
On June 15, the teenager called a local cab company and asked to be picked up to visit her boyfriend in Scottsdale. She never made it to the cab or to her boyfriend's house.
Family and friends have been praying and passing out fliers in local neighborhoods hoping someone has information that can lead them to Salinas."

Her father found her car there. He should be cited as the source. Nobody else "saw" her drop her car. If that was the case, we'd probably have a lot more answers than we have right now. :banghead:

Thank you! ^^^^^

And again I think if LE knew the sedan in the video was a cabbie (or his dad) or suspected it, they probably would have stated so or bagged him by now. I'm assuming they got this footage around the time they got the AMPM surveillance footage within a week of AS disappearance. Jmo

Yes! If we had anyone see that we wouldn't be so confused right now (me supremely confused obviously)

Let's examine the timeline again.

2:30 approx Adrienne and BF leave to go to BF's place

3:00 approx Adrienne is back at her apartment

3:30 approx Adrienne leaves saying she is going to BF's (takes bag with her)

3:44 911 caller describes Adrienne's car hitting median on Rio Salado Parkway

4:10 - 4:17 Adrienne makes 11 unanswered calls to BF's cellphone

4:23 Adrienne calls cab to meet her at AM/PM

4:43 (or 4:47) Adrienne sends text to BF saying she is "coming over"

4:52 A slender woman is seen on surveillance cam walking through the west parking lot of O'Reilly's Auto Parts

4:54 a dark 4 door sedan is seen on the surveillance cam of O'Reillys heading northbound through the same parking lot

5:04 Cabbie calls Adrienne to see when she is coming (So he said)

5:05 Cabbie calls Adrienne again to see when she is coming (So he said)

5:06 Adrienne calls Cabbie to say she will be there "in a minute" (So he said)

5:07 Cabbie calls Adrienne and gets her voice mail (So he said)

(Sometime between the 911 call at 3:44 and 5:07 it is assumed Adrienne went back to her apartment and changed clothes, leaving behind her wallet, packed bag & keys.)

I think wherever she left her car, someone moved it to Roosevelt and w brown to throw off LE and to distance the car from their place/it's original location IMO. Moo IMOO jmoo zippadeedooda I'm losing it.

Edit: but they didn't have her car key as it was left at her house, so it couldn't be moved by driving it (much the less with the tires screwed after riding rims). IMO

Miss, can you amend this with exact quotes from the latest report of what 911 caller said? She stated that she saw Adrienne on Ash with her car issues. (finally today's report elaborated!)

"The white car then sped up to about 65 mph and passed her. Shortly afterwards when the woman turned at Ash Avenue and Rio Salado Parkway, she saw a “large amount of smoke from the tires and dirt in the air." She told officers the car had hit a curb, but when she stopped to help, the driver of the white car sped off “on damaged tires.”

Its Rio Salado Parkway not Rio Salada.

Just want to make sure the street name is correct as well as the correction of caller attempting to offer help to the car on Ash and not Rio Salado.

Ty! Great TL! :)

Also why would she take Ash now that we know thats where she hit the curb when Rio Salado Pkwy going East was to take her toward Scottsdale rd./Scottsdale where the bf lives???

Why go away from Scottsdale and take Ash???

This is worrisome.

I amended the street name to: Rio Salado Parkway

If you have a link to the 911 call I will put it in there. I don't want to start putting quotes from media sources in there.

thx

I don't think it really matters much at this point. She was probably just scared and wanting to get the car as far away as she could. I agree with the theory that she didn't stop because she was worried about getting a DUI.

I don't believe there was a tow truck involved at all. I think it seems a little far fetched to think that someone would have gone to all the effort of moving the car at that time of the morning after doing something to AS - very high risk of being caught. A tow truck would definitely be noticed in the street (with all the flashing lights and noise it would make to get the car on and off the flat bed), and someone surely would have noticed a car being moved at this time of morning - it was around 5am, not exactly a time that everyone is still in bed asleep. Taking into consideration the amount of attention her case is receiving in the area at the moment, someone would have called in reports of a tow truck leaving the car there if that were what actually happened. There is also no record of AS calling for a tow truck, and I doubt she simply came across one in her travels and convinced them to help her move her car.

If we really think about her actions that night, a lot of her behavior didn't seem entirely logical, so I don't believe it's much of a stretch for her to leave her car somewhere random with every intent to go back and collect it once she was thinking more clearly. I think the car was placed here so it wouldn't look suspicious to LE, who she was likely trying to avoid considering she may have been driving under the influence. Moving the car here also got it away from the scene of the accident - which was obviously a success seeing as LE didn't find it when they were searching for it after the 911 call.

The simplest explanation is often the closest to the truth. I don't see any information to suggest there was a tow truck involved, so I'm not going to start investigating down those lines of thought until there is something to suggest it's a valid path to start sleuthing. At this stage I'm focusing on the dark sedan that was seen in the same area as AS within a few minutes of her. Even if they didn't abduct or hurt her, they were in the same area and hopefully saw something.

No offense intended, I just think we need to work with the information we actually have, so we don't go completely off base. We have footage of her on camera well after the accident, so I don't believe the accident has a lot to do with her going missing, except for it contributing to her state of mind at the time. I really think she left her car to deal with it later, AFTER she had made it to her boyfriend.

MOO

Re-tracing (or trying to) her route after the crash, never mind her decision-making, seems pointless. The crash is pretty irrelevant to her being missing, overall, as if that did not stop her from running back out to get to that BF, nothing short of whatever did happen to her was going to stop her.
