Well, I'm staying away from any talk about drug use by specific individuals at this point.

Something that had occurred to me regarding drug use...

Would Adrienne have been taking any type of prescription after the Valley Fever or been using an inhaler for example?

Don't blame you a bit. Not a bit. I get that pot is okay (not for me, thanks) and was shocked by my little friend's statement but it seemed like such a natural thing for her to say... and it makes as much sense as chloroform, IMO. In fact, MORE SENSE because it could have easily been a TRAP.

Hip, you got a square?!
:floorlaugh:

Sorry, can't help myself, feeling delirious from all these timelines.

Kidding, back on topic.

Maybe prednisone?

ETA: Diflucan or other antifungals in the beginning but I don't think this far into her recovery... I am not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV. :)

Would you have left your wallet in an apartment full of party goers?

If there was no money in it maybe.

I would, and I have. When I was younger we used to have quite big (and wild) parties at my place, and while I would have known MOST of the people there, I definitely didn't know ALL of them, and on top of that there were probably only really a handful that I knew REALLY well. We had an open door policy, and trusted everyone that came in... it was almost like an unspoken rule that if you came to our house you didn't wreck the place or steal from us. I'd leave my handbag with my wallet in my room, along with all my valuables, sometimes not even hidden away (depending on how much I'd had to drink).

Although, that did change about a year later, when quite a large sum of money went missing from our house. But these are the things you learn as you get older...

I would, if my goal was to NOT have ID on me, as then if she was asked for ID by a cop, she could say she forgot her wallet. I doubt she carried anything at all, except maybe cash in a pocket.

And really, I do not feel it is confirmed that the apartment was still full of people. Would like to hear LE say the party went on until 5am. Do we know if they have? Or just "media"?

This is something else to consider - by the time she left the party wouldn't have been in full swing, and was likely just a handful of close friends that she would have trusted around her property anyway. And if she were trying to avoid being identified by LE (which I very strongly believe she was), I don't think it's a stretch to believe she left her wallet at home in case LE ended up catching up with her.

What about impaired judgement from a head injury? There may be no outwards signs of injury but it's there. The person suffering from it may not realize that they are affected.

That could be a factor in this case IMO.

I think this could come into play here, if she hit her head she may have been suffering from a concussion. This could have made her more vulnerable to an abductor. I don't believe she succumbed to an injury and lay down somewhere, she would have been found by now.

Think she was going to meet someone at the circle k to pick up weed or something before meeting the cabby? She liked to smoke a good bit by account of her references and pics of MJ.

Her dad had given her shopping cash the last time he saw her before she disappeared. I know that when I go to meet "my guy", I usually don't bring wallet and ID (cash only) and I DO get in their car for a ride while picking up so as to not look suspicious standing outside a car while buying herb.

Lol just a thought. I'm giving myself away here.

I think this is a strong possibility. It's fairly common practice to get in the car to make a deal, so it wouldn't really have been difficult to just drive off with her. And at this time of the morning it's very unlikely that anyone would have known she was meeting up with a dealer, especially as Adrienne didn't see her room mates before she headed off again (so no one would have known if she were planning on meeting up with someone before catching her cab - heck, no one even knew she was getting the cab). When she last spoke to the cab driver to let him know she was only about a minute away she could have been with her dealer already, which is why she indicated she wasn't very far away - she just had to finish up with her dealer and walk over the road. Meeting a drug dealer is also something that you wouldn't tell the cabbie you were doing, as it may have compromised her being able to get a lift with him.

This person may well have even been someone at the party who saw her fighting with her boyfriend, and thought they might be in with a chance - she is definitely a very attractive young woman. Even if they had no intention of abducting her, something could have gone wrong and they panicked. Problem is, this is going to be very hard to trace if this is actually what happened.

And WELCOME to thref23! :welcome:

Good thought. If so, how might that have a bearing on her case?

Put my movie on pause because I needed to look this up. This is the Floor Plan to Adrienne's apartment:

arbors-redwood-2x1.50b7cf72863ffdcd6cbd871928e75ce7a.png

This is the only two bedroom floor plan at her complex with an upstairs. If you notice, the front door is right next to the stairs leading upstairs so it is very likely she could have slipped in without anyone noticing her. The apt is 943 s.f. and 40 to 50 people would have to be crammed in that small space, considering they were probably not using the upstairs.

There is a balcony upstairs off the larger of the two bdrms. Could it even be possible she might have jumped off the balcony so they wouldn't see her leaving?

I'm under the impression she didn't want her roomies or anyone from the party to know she planned to catch a cab to go back to BFs. Then she would have had to explain to them how she had wrecked her car, etc.

It's becoming more clear to me now.

Has there been any reports in MSM that Adrienne was using drugs?

No, but there's mention of it on her various social media profiles.

I really don't think anyone is exploring these options with any kind of judgment - just throwing things out there and brainstorming to help work out what happened that night.

BRAVO AND THANK YOU!

Good thought. If so, how might that have a bearing on her case?

Possibly a bad reaction between whatever medication she was on and any alcohol or other substances she may have ingested that night (whether voluntarily or not)?

I don't believe she would have still been on medication this far into her recovery though, but I'm not a doctor so I don't know for sure.

Exactly. Why I posted I hated even bringing it up but because the scenario offered by my little friend, it seemed plausible and relevant.

I'm not sure.
But, I understand prescription pills are worth money and during my accident I almost got hooked on pain pills. Was about to the point where I would buy them from a friend when the Dr. quit prescribing. I had no idea I was hooked until I tried to stop. It was not too bad. I wanted to be off of them so I worked at it.

Also, though if she needed a prescription she would have taken a bag or purse with that in it.

In the video of her father from the NG show at 1:58 the father says,
" she had been given the okay to go back to work"

The father describes her recent illness and that she was back to about 90%, she was gaining weight, etc...

eta; thank you again to Amandareckonwith for keeping the file archive on Adrienne.

So Adrienne was recovering from her illness but still not 100% in her fathers opinion. I wonder if that factored in with her driving erratically before she slid into the curb. Was she feeling weak and drowsy?

Would it as be a factor in how she handled the impact of the accident? If she was still somewhat weak, would slamming sideways into the curb affect her more than someone else?

I definitely agree that it could be relevant, especially considering her age, the friends she socialized with, and the info on her social media pages. No judgment from me at all, we just need to explore all the possibilities, and I believe that this is a scenario that could have played into whatever happened that night/morning. :twocents:

I'm not quoting any posts that mention social media as a source of information because it's against TOS.

If someone can bring up a MSM link about specific use of drugs by specific individuals, then I'll talk about it.

Sometimes I wake up and look around at what I have... it isn't much but it is more than one would have expected had they known me in the 80's-early 90's while I was running Mill. Coked out little party girl and I am thankful and a little in awe that I survived.

There but by the grace of G-d.

Ranch,

The witness describes Adrienne as going 65 miles and hour. Her driving was more than erratic. IMO

The woman told police that as she approached Rio Salado Parkway and turned east, the white car followed her, speeding and tailgating. The woman said she changed lanes and the the white car followed before accelerating to about 65 mph and passing her.

The woman said that as she approached her turn at Ash Avenue from Rio Salado Parkway, she saw ahead of her a large amount of smoke coming from the white car’s tires and dirt in the air. The car had hit the east curb in the turn, and both of the driver’s side tires were on the curb, flattened, according to the report.

Taking into consideration the damage to her car, how fast would she need to have been going to blow out both tires? This should give us an indication of the force she would have crashed with.
