I just don't think AS ever made it back after she left the first time.
I base this on a few statements I have read and not one person outside of her circle of friends has come forward to say they saw anyone fitting her description after about 3am.
I guess I am hard headed.
A stranger abduction seems unlikely with all of the unsavory characters she was surrounded with through her own friends and the people they knew.
LE hasn't issued any statements/warnings advising an abduction occurred in the area have they?
If they had AS on video wouldn't they at the very least issue a description of the vehicle and ask the public if they had seen it?
maybe they did...
I just get the feeling that people are scared for their own safety and won't talk

I haven't seen any help in identifying the vehicle or owner through the MSM or local media,
nor has the video been released to the public, or warnings being disseminated. I think dad was pretty convinced it wasn't her, and quite frankly, the LE might have thought it was a long shot too, but just covering all the bases. If they had thought it was an important lead, they wouldn't have publicized any of it if they had a plate # or didn't want to give the suspect a heads up.
I really think they're playing it like the Jhessy Shockley case, get the public and family convinced you're looking for an unknown perp, and in the meantime, concentrate on those closest to the missing. Jhessy's mom is going on trial for her murder in the next few months. She never saw it coming, showing up on NG and MSM, handing out missing flyers. LE played it real close to the vest, and I don't even think her family members, who believed she WAS responsible, knew LE was closing in on her.
LE never did find Jhessy's body, she was just the cutest 5 year old, but they have enough to try her for 1st degree murder. Now there's a monster who needs a little help on the fast track to the "hereafter". She starved and beat the little girl, locked in a closet, for weeks. JMO.
