I would love to cite but cannot so I will paraphrase what I recall being stated, which was the young lady in the footage did not walk like Adrienne. If that is the only criteria for ruling the woman on the video out, there are many explanations for why she would be walking differently IMO.

True that!
Wonder why it was not shown to her bf or friends...

May very well have been. It was mentioned for one day in news reports and then dropped like a hot rock.

I hope LE knows whose car was on the video by now, and why they were in that lot, even if the person was not Adrienne.

Also, one of her roommates has several posts about A on her personal FB, including recent ones.

Jaycee park has always been known as a not very cool place to be after dark by yourself. Druggies, homeless people, nefarious types. This has been "common knowledge" and anyone moving into that area would surely have found that out.
*major scratching head* Did she KNOW that?

Am I understanding correctly that AS may have taken a short cut by walking through the park? (Menaing it would make sense geographically to do, even if it wasn't the "safest" choice?)

Sure. Totally possible. Totally possible she took McKemy instead of Hardy too... assuming she was actually walking that direction (toward AM/PM at all). No one knows (presumably). :(

If you look at the aerial of the area, the Arbor Apts are between Brown and 5th streets, so 5th St. is directly south through the apt complex parking lot.View attachment 36269

It is definately a possibility that she would cut through to get from her car to the apartment. If you walk it without cutting through, you've increased your walk (albeit it would be safer than this shortcut).

I wonder if LE has scoured through that shortcut?

It's a straight line.

I feel the young lady in the video was more than likely Adrienne, and I believe the dark four door seen two minutes later is key to this investigation. Every time I review the information and timeline of this case, I am led to the same likely scenario. Perhaps the police report will either confrim or cause me to alter said theory.

I just don't think AS ever made it back after she left the first time.

I base this on a few statements I have read and not one person outside of her circle of friends has come forward to say they saw anyone fitting her description after about 3am.

I guess I am hard headed.
A stranger abduction seems unlikely with all of the unsavory characters she was surrounded with through her own friends and the people they knew.

LE hasn't issued any statements/warnings advising an abduction occurred in the area have they?

If they had AS on video wouldn't they at the very least issue a description of the vehicle and ask the public if they had seen it?
maybe they did...

I just get the feeling that people are scared for their own safety and won't talk

Can anyone explain how if AS left with bf at the time stated and went to his house, the argument continued... he walked outside for a few min came back and AS was gone. So he went looking for her found her she bolted from vehicle he found her and gave her the phone then was able to call her roommate to go look for her.

Based on our timeline he'd need a helicopter wouldn't he?
2:30am -3:22am...

I get the feeling that she really didn't want to be around bf and yet she didn't want to be around her friends at the apartment either.

Why?

Where's her confidante?

Maybe the argument was only a minute? o.O

LE believes she did, and that is good enough for me at this point.

I base this on a few statements I have read and not one person outside of her circle of friends has come forward to say they saw anyone fitting her description after about 3am.

I don't believe this is true. If I recall correctly, folks recollected seeing her come in and charge her phone and do a few other things after the accident. They don't recall seeing her leave, if my memory serves me right.

A stranger abduction seems unlikely with all of the unsavory characters she was surrounded with through her own friends and the people they knew.

Though a stranger abduction is certainly a possible scenario if that was her and the dark four door is involved, I don't feel that it was a stranger abduction in the sense that it was random. I go back to means, motive, and opportunity, as well as the timeline, context, and statistics.

LE hasn't issued any statements/warnings advising an abduction occurred in the area have they?

No, but this case has been deemed a kidnapping if I recall correctly.

If they had AS on video wouldn't they at the very least issue a description of the vehicle and ask the public if they had seen it?

They did issue a description of the vehicle. Dark four door. That may be all they could decipher from grainy video. Perhaps they are currently utilizing enhancement software to see if they can make out better details. That could take awhile. Or, they already know who it was but can't connect him enough for an arrest at this time.

I get the feeling that some folks aren't very cooperative and haven't been from the beginning. Despite their public appeals to the contrary.

I got the feeling she didn't want to leave in the first place - why the 180?

That video has not been released and Mr Salinas has stated he does not believe that is Adrienne.

If I was helping the LE.. And trying to keep my kidnapped daughter alive, I would state anything they asked me to... IMO.. This might be what her Dad did..

I think that is why the LE relseased the video after the Dad ststed it isn't her...

LE is after that vechile...

They haven't released the video, assuming you are referring to the O'Reilly's video. That is the video her father stated the young lady did not walk like Adrienne.

On the 29th. Only 2 weeks after her disappearance.

I haven't seen any help in identifying the vehicle or owner through the MSM or local media, nor has the video been released to the public, or warnings being disseminated. I think dad was pretty convinced it wasn't her, and quite frankly, the LE might have thought it was a long shot too, but just covering all the bases. If they had thought it was an important lead, they wouldn't have publicized any of it if they had a plate # or didn't want to give the suspect a heads up.
I really think they're playing it like the Jhessy Shockley case, get the public and family convinced you're looking for an unknown perp, and in the meantime, concentrate on those closest to the missing. Jhessy's mom is going on trial for her murder in the next few months. She never saw it coming, showing up on NG and MSM, handing out missing flyers. LE played it real close to the vest, and I don't even think her family members, who believed she WAS responsible, knew LE was closing in on her.
LE never did find Jhessy's body, she was just the cutest 5 year old, but they have enough to try her for 1st degree murder. Now there's a monster who needs a little help on the fast track to the "hereafter". She starved and beat the little girl, locked in a closet, for weeks. JMO.
