More random thoughts, before I forget them:
After looking at the house last night the following things occurred to me. Even if it was dark and the surveillance cam only picked up the 'shape' of the perp when he left, LE still has that shape to work with. I would imagine (hope I'm correct) that this video has been sent off to the most sophisticated lab SPD can find (FBI?) to help edit or enhance that shape so they might have a better chance of identifying the perp.
But regardless, let's say they can't make a clear ID, still I would think they would be able to tell if the perp had a backpack on similar to the one in the B&E burglar the news put out a video of recently who has broken into some houses nearby. I would think they could tell by the shape if there was a backpack. Or if they were carrying something, like her handbag or a sack of things.
For those of you who may be unaware, on Allison's recent trip to Paris she purchased a new Gucci Handbag and was seen in photos carrying a very nice Louis Vuitton handbag. She liked nice designer purses.
There are photos online that show her at the Gucci store in Paris with her purse in the bag. She was so happy.
Any professional burglar would know these purses are worth a whole lot of money! Thousands of dollars. You can search Craigslist and eBay and see how much used ones are bringing. Basically the same amount as new ones.
So I don't think the perp (if it was a burglar) stole her purse. And I can't see any burglar breaking into a house and murdering someone and then taking their bracelet, some other jewelry, cell phone and credit cards.
The cell phone probably wasn't in her purse. I'm thinking it's possible she might have had her iPhone 6 in one of those little carry cases that are so popular with a place to keep a couple of credit cards as well. If the perp wanted the phone he wouldn't have stopped to take it out of the case imo.
Why take any jewelry? To make it look like a robbery? For sentimental reasons? Because he gave it to her? (Someone from her past theory) To sell on the street for a few bucks to buy drugs? (Transient, homeless person theory) To keep as a souveneir? (moronic sex-crazed neighbor teenager theory)
I can't think of any scenario in which a professional burglar would take anything at all if he entered the house and was surprised by someone fighting him like Allison did her attacker. I would think he would just get the hell out of there as quickly as possible without even harming her. But if he couldn't get away and he did wind up murdering her I can't see him taking anything at all that might in any way tie him to the crime.
The only thing that makes any sense (if anything does at all) is that someone tried a lame effort to make it look like a robbery. And IMO only someone who knew her would have done this.
Okay...that's it folks. I'm going to go have a life this weekend now.
CIAO for now!
