I agree, the Valentine's picture is a little creepy but I honestly think it was just her or him taking a pic of the holiday.

I do feel something definitely could have happened that weekend considering it is so close to her time of death.

I went to one of the funerals and Valentine's Day was actually discussed. I believe they went to a comedy club, pretty low key or else was made to seem that way.

That was probably the Scottsdale Comedy Club. It's right over here by me in Old Town and it's a very fun rocking place! We actually considered going there on Valentine's Day but since the time my BF got stopped on the way home for DUI (he did get out of it) we are reluctant to go anywhere and have even one drink on a holiday like that.

We could have walked there, however. It's that close.

It could be, Bernina. But my son's GF is from Russia. She moved here when she was 5. She's very outgoing, warm and quite talkative. She has no accent at all. However, it could be the way he was brought up, though.

I was brought up with a strong Scandinavian culture, and added the Hispanic culture with my two ex-husbands. As far as death and mourning, it's more Scandinavian/Native American. I never connected with the LDS (Mormon) thing where it's pretty emotionless, that was the religion that my folks were. At the other end of the spectrum, the few funerals that I went to with my ex's, lots of wailing, someone always seems to want to jump in the grave and they party til they drop afterwards.
It's not the standard Americanized deal, if there is one.
I could see her BF being really uncomfortable and uncertain as to whether he was going about it in an acceptable "American" way.
BTW: I don't do funerals. I went through a staggering amount of funerals in my youth. I quit after a life long friends died of complications of AIDS in 1989. I've only gone to one since, 2004, because in that case, he shouldn't have died and I couldn't accept it til I saw him in a casket. I try to say what I need to say to people I love before their gone, every time I speak to them.

Do you think maybe SPD hasn't publicly said no one has been eliminated by DNA to give the perp a false sense of security? Maybe he'll slip up?

I'm sure it's not helping the community feel safer.:gaah:

I'm thinking they think it was more than one perp.

Yes, I think SPD might be doing it on purpose. I'm sorry to hear about your losses. You're not the only one that won't attend funerals. I know someone else that feels the same way.

This is almost like the books my son used to have, "Where's Waldo?" where you had to scan through a crowd and pick out this guy in a striped shirt, lol.

LOL! :floorlaugh:

I need that program!

Most of the pics that I post usually can be run through MS Paint, but if you want to keep the "sharpness" a bit longer as you enlarge/zoom in, any Photoshop Elements or Adobe Creative Suite (I think their on # 8 now!) really works well.

Well, Miss D, is it raining down there? It's been on and off up here above Prescott, and the snow level is down to 6500". And it should get very close, if not right on the money for 32 degrees over night, ice on the water troughs.
There's still snow from last weekend on the San Francisco Peaks.

Good gawd, woman! It could be raining in Scottsdale and you're not even looking? :floorlaugh: The 2 best times of the year down there were when the citrus was blooming and just after a rain shower.

I just hope that the Scottsdale LE knows more than we do. I fear this case is going cold.:tantrum:
