Found Deceased AZ - Arthur Gustafson, 34, Phoenix, 27 July 2018

I have a hard time believing the police haven’t found his vehicle yet... Arthur has had NO press coverage to my knowledge which is even more discouraging. It’s frustrating to think that he’s just gone after seeing him M-F at work for so long. It’s now been almost two months! does ANYONE have an update?

Only update I have is Arthur’s family was able to arrange for Arthur’s belongings to be picked up, and none of the bodies found recently were him. No traces of him or his vehicle.

I miss my friend, he has a dark sense of humor and is a giant of a man, but a really good dude. If anyone has any information at all, even anonymously, please contact the authorities. We just want our friend to come home. Arthur, if you should see this, I miss you, bro.

Me either. Many of the people who were in the original group of folks looking for him have stopped posting about it but he is for sure still missing. A couple people, his family and his ex girlfriend, are working on getting Arthur’s belongings from his apartment. Trying to, anyway. That’s all I know. I informed the person I am helping about the body found in saguaro lake to see if she is able to have the person ruled out or confirmed as Arthur but she read it and never replied. I wish I knew more specifically where he was last. I’m too involved now to let Arthur be forgotten. I don’t feel confident that he is still alive but I’d like for his family and friends to get closure at least. His vehicle hasn’t even been found.

This is his sister- we shared it daily for weeks- contacted news stations with no help. Informed by police in the Phoenix area in one year there are over 7000 missing persons reports filed

And to ArthursSistee, I apologize if my post hurt you in any way. I was referring to his friends who I had been seeing on my own Facebook account which was coming mostly from his friends in the comedy scene. They were the “many people” I was referring to in my post. I knew all this time that Arthur’s family and closest friends were working diligently to locate him, and I’m so, so sorry if anything I said felt targeted at you. It certainly was not my intention. Most importantly, I am so very sorry for your loss.

It is very difficult for me to have to write this. Last Thursday night my brother Arthur was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
