Is there a bucket of designer eyeglasses outside of the courtroom where the defendant enters? JA had a different pair every week, now MD has different pairs. Has this now become part of defendant wardrobing 'must have' items?

I was thinking that yesterday while watching Teghans monster.
Defense attorneys need to get a new tactic, the eyeglasses thing just is NOT cutting it.

Ya know, I am finding it odd just how little coverage there is on this case considering this is JA's cellmate who likely gave JA half her defense ideas.
Kind of shocked HLN isn't all over this (especially NG & JVM).

Realized it because I have a Google alert set for MD, and in 2 weeks I have gotten TWO alerts with one article link each.

Will say it again, this is really is a strange one.

ETA- I realize those 2 weeks included hiatus, but even when "in session" there is only one article a day usually :waitasec:

Thank you for posting info on this trial. I'm surprised too that it hasn't gotten more coverage. If it would bring about more attention to CMJA, then I'm glad it hasn't.

I agree and don't understand it either. I find it very noteworthy that MD and JA are friends and have ironically similar defense strategies. Maybe the media powers-th-be think this is a copycat case and not worth the attention?

HLN did have it on Vinnie P's afternoon show when the trial started, but I haven't heard anything about it for a while on there. They are all about the Oscar Pistorius Trial which I find is a big yawn. No offense to the victim or her family, but South African court live stream is very painful to watch, I think I'd rather watch paint dry.

Yeah, I tried watching OP, fell asleep.
I am a night person so if it was very engaging my whole sleep schedule would now be adjusted, and I would be sleeping all day and watching that all night. It just moves at such a different pace than US courts, I think I had a hard time getting used to it.
Although I do love listening to their accents, and the "M'lady" never gets old

Plus, I was a fan of OP, so it just makes me sad to see where he has put himself
