I think the Judge will give her LWOP. Even if the option of parole is given, I'm sure Dale's family would be at every parole hearing, and the parole board would take the heinous nature of the crime into consideration, ie, she's gonna be there a very, VERY, long time regardless.

It was the kids -- hopefully judge won't think of them:banghead:

They must have overlooked the part about the hammer to the head, victim asleep while the hammer was swung repeatedly, and that the victims eye had been dislodged from its socket due to the force of the skull pounding.

ETA: And the victim died as the result of the attack.
