They just had four days off. They come in and then leave??????

Maybe someone thought it was "Cinco de Mayo"?

Is it possible they reached a verdict but for some reason the Judge wants to announce it tomorrow? This is bizarre!

The only logical explanation I can think of is that a juror suddenly felt ill. Why come all the way to court just to go back? Makes no sense.

:facepalm:I wonder if it's just another evil trick?!?!?!

:floorlaugh:

Heading out to play with son's evil katz from helz........if I survive, I will be back tomorrow!

This is utterly bizarre.

So will that be 1pm Phoenix time????

So not only have they adjourned for the day, they aren't due to come back until tomorrow at 1 p.m.

Wonder what's up? Someone sick, hung jury?

I'm starting to get worried. Please don't make us wait on this case too!

Thanks. It is bad timing! Hope the juror feels better and they can resume deliberations tomorrow.

Arizona trials drain me oh so much...

:waiting:

I want to know how a juror can know they will be sick until 1:00 tomorrow?

Those Arizona courts, they be full of "tricksies". Like a hand of poker and the whole bunch of them got their poker face on.......

Just guessing but if they are still sick at 1pm they may replace them with an alternate if the alternates have not been dismissed. jmo

This beats all! Maybe they were too tired and HUNG-OVER from their four day weekend. I don't think I've ever seen such lax hours and waste of money than the way this state manages court trials. Ridiculous!

Makes me suspicious that maybe a juror is "sick" because they just can't make themselves agree with the death sentence. Anxiety level is most likely about as high as it can get. Having four days to think about it and dread it would make it worse IMO.

I know what you mean....really hope we don't have another Jodi Arias situation with this jury. Can a jury in this state bring it home and finish it, please?

maybe they've been over catered and just need a few more days to burn off the carbs.

Maybe I'm ignorant but I really do not understand why people find it so very hard to sentence an evil woman to death. Someone who used a hammer to savagely murder her husband and then laughed about it? I don't understand it especially because these jurors said they believe in the death penalty! They said they could. And this is one of those especially cruel situations. And it's not like they are the ones physically injecting the needle. I'd think twice about criminals who did not torture their victims, who are honest and remorseful (which requires honesty), kids (and I don't mean a woman in her early 30's like Arias!). I wouldn't think twice about recommending the death penalty for those who use knives and hammers to slaughter their victims and then pretend to be victims themselves! I wouldn't hesitate at all and I would be able to sleep just fine with my conscience crystal clear.
