Not only did she withhold information on the whereabouts of a missing child and a federal fugitive, she attempted extortion on the child's father, she should be hit with obstruction of justice for the way her stories change, if not aiding and abetting. She baby shops and obviously is not mentally stable...and yet, TPS is not in jail. If I had done all that, I'd have a brand new head shot, courtesy of the Flint PD.
So, what's her secret? Why is she not in jail right now?

Not true. You have to terminate both parents' rights for another family to adopt the child. It's only needed for one parent when someone like a stepparent is adopting the child, and only if they contest it.

Which is why Elizabeth was getting so peeved that the bio dad wouldn't sign the papers. Whomever has the baby will most likely be charged with kidnapping. OTOH, since this is such a front page story, I'm beginning to wonder if there is a couple who has the baby

After all, friends, family, nosy neighbors will soon start to wonder who this new child is and where he came from.

and to add to that... if the father is unknown or does not show up to sign the consent you have to run an add in the newspaper (time varies from state to state but in the adoption of my own son we had to run the birth father add for thirty business days and at that time the consent is considered waived and the birthfather cannot come back and contest at a later date).

aiding, abeting, extortion, black market adoption, what about the child she has?? how about misleading LE, interfering with an investigation??

arrest her....grill her....let's find that baby if he is still alive
or find out what happened and get some justice

If you check for TPS MS in the Google cache, looks like she didn't update often either, until recently. Just like EJ.
Cached on 10-12-2009, with same banner that was set 6-5-2009, and the same profile pic as now. At that time, she hadn't logged in for a month.

There is something going on between them, IMO.

And, as an afterthought, the bubble bath pics she has up of the teens are just inappropriate for myspace, also IMO.

Wow...so much new information overnight. Was really hoping that LE had found baby Gabriel this morning.

And from her statements, I stand by my belief that TPS has been trying to get this baby since her first meeting with EJ and has been grooming her ever since. And I think her "drive" was ramped up because of the Christmas season coming up. What better "present" for her other "questionably" adopted child?

So TPS has admitted to having Gabriel from late November to early December. Well she had no choice but to admit it considering a detective was at her home to check it out not to mention the FB posts.

I am thinking that this is the incident where EJ hid the baby from LM and the police were called. The "friend" that she left him with was probably TPS and she produced some bogus "papers" for the detective and another BS story when he showed up at the house. But she probably knew at that time since LE was involved that she had to give the baby back or it would be looked into more carefully and the bogus papers would be exposed for what they were...an illegal attempt to gain custody of this baby. I'm sure once the baby was back with LM after that incident, no further investigation was carried out.

TPS has been involved with I-Act since at least 2007 and their head office is in San Antonio. She would know lots of people in the area. EJ knew no one. She wouldn't just choose this location to "get away from things for a while". Not to mention the financial side of things, how did she pay for her "trip"?. The whole field of "natural" medicine is ripe with people that are a little "off". Not everyone but there are some. I know this from experience. To believe that these people would be involved in some "underground" baby trafficking would not be a stretch IMO. Whoever has that baby (once again praying someone does) will be traced back to TPS IMO.

It's time for that person to cut their losses and produce Gabriel. TPS will never get him and they can't hide him forever. I hope they decide to do the right thing.

I just found about Gabe last nite when I happened to put on NG. Wow. My head is still spinning on this one. So many confusing things, so many pieces that don't fit. First, this Smith chick must not be a patient of her own clinic because she's as FOS as they come. Someone does need to really seriously check under her bed as SuziQ suggested. No joke.

Next, how does EJ claim on one hand that she handed the baby over to these "park people" and doesn't know anything about them except that she felt they were good people yet SHE SPENT THREE DAYS WITH THEM???? WTF? I hope LE is so far down this girl's throat they are about to come out the other side.

My first instinct upon hearing that EJ had texted the dad and told him baby Gabe was dead was that she HAD given Gabe away to someone and wanted to be done with the whole thing. As if you can say your baby is dead and everyone will just let it be.

But I am horrified to say that seeing as how they found the car with the baby seat still there and she was seen on a bus without Gabe, my feelings about him being found alive are dwindling. I do hope I'm wrong though.

I know one thing for sure....I want to wring EJ's neck.

I believe that LE knew all along that EJ and Gabriel were at that park. From eyewitnesses who saw them there. They are both quite striking really and would stand out IMO. And they also knew that was the last place anyone saw them together so I have no doubt that she did hand the baby off to someone either there or at that Motel 6 shortly after. But I also believe it was all pre-arranged.

That if Logan signed the papers, she would come home with Gabriel and then she would sign.
The Smiths allegedly tried to make it clear that this would only be to get Gabriel back, as if it was done under duress, it isn't legally binding.

She still isn't right. Did anyone notice her running off at the mouth, and having to ask the reporter what the question was? She's in her own world.

It also, by TPS's statements, was not a guardianship as she earlier said, just babysitting for a few days.
