But it all comes back to San Antonio, she left there without baby Gabriel. That should be our focus point...because once she boarded that bus, it was WITHOUT precious Gabriel. Who cares why she went to Florida? The point being, Gabriel was not in her arms. Just a back pack.

We might as well give up on LE providing us or the public the much needed information we so long for. In that case, we might as well grasp our boot straps and get down to work.

The last sighting of baby Gabriel was on December 26, 2009.
Elizabeth boarded that bus on December 27th.

Leave the Smiths out of this. Let's get focused again.

Help. I beg you all.

Let's figure this out!

There's no reason to act like those of use who think the Smith's are involved are not focused.

Contrary to your statement, I truly do believe the Smiths are involved in this case. That is why I have posted my beliefs (opinions) that they (or at least one of the Smiths) will be arrested on or before this Wednesday, January 20th (the date of EJ's prelimimary hearing on 3 of the 4 charges).

My point being, no matter how much I and most possibly the rest of us would like to see the Smiths brought to justice, we all want baby Gabriel found. The rest of it will all sort itself out in time. But time is precious, just as Gabriel is.

Interesting..according to her grandfather she WAS into fashion..or at least had been before Gabriel was born apparently. Remember the interview where he said that she just wasn't interested in being a mother? (paraphrasing there)

Would she head towards Miami if that was what she had her mind set on? Or as you said Cali..he!!, why not NY? IDK, just thinking out loud here. It hadn't occurred to me until I read your post that I have given no though into what her plans were after she did "whatever she did" :( For some reason I've just felt like she had no real plans..almost like she knew she would eventually get caught, but was going to leave LE a lot of ground to cover in the process trying to pinpoint exactly 'where' something happened, hoping they would never be able to prove anything...:

JMO, but I think EJ is one conniving chick, not to be underestimated. Skeery is what she is, cool as a cucumber.. .

Miami is really a huge fashion center. They have large fashion weeks. Each fashion center has its own style/feel/trends..If she was going for that, perhaps that was more the style she was interested in rather than NY or CA.

Also someone mentioned there aren't state income taxes..but we pay more for things like car registration/taxes on food then other places I've lived.

Also, its very easy to find hostels anywhere...You don't need to make contacts. There are websites online that list them. Anyone who is traveling on limited budgets would probably look for those..and it would seem to be easier to hide there.

When I think of Miami, I think cruise boats............IDKWhy but could EJ think
of a new career on a cruise boat???
Other than that, Miami isn't all that great to me anymore........
sorta crummy??
IMO, sorry if you live there.

Possible that was her thinking but she would have had to apply for a passport which the background check would apply going through a clearinghouse and she would have been caught with that fake ID. If she had thoughts of working on a cruise ship, she would have had to also go through a background check of sorts with the State of Florida. Doubt she would have slipped through on that either but, who knows how mature her thinking was in this regard.

I think it was figured out a while ago which hostel or general area in Miami Beach

People give reviews in regards to their stay at the hostels, wonder if one could email them a pic of EJ and ask if they saw her?

I found something about the sale of the old business and it now has a new name. Sorry if you already knew that!!!

Thanks! I knew the old name didn't exist and that she had sold it to a friend-- I don't know if the friend is the friend on TS FB who has the same kind of C-shop in TN and is connected to a women's shelter that M mentioned lol -- follow the post links in reverse if you want more info

I earlier posted this on thread 12 today and am transferring it to those of you who may have missed it. I do realize that some people have employment and their lives...

In an effort to get the story of missing baby Gabriel out to the public, I phoned my local abc affiliate and requested they run the story that aired this morning on Good Morning America. It is a fresh story and needs to get out to as many people as possible. Heck, I woke up just to hear the closing comments, so I missed what the content of the story was about.

Note that since today is a holiday, the main switchboard was closed. However, they left a number for a tip line which directed me directly to the news room.

My thought being, the more that know the plight of this baby, the likelyhood of recovery is increased. As we all know, media is our best friend in cases of missing children. If not given the air time, the case grows cold.

If all of our members would contact their local abc affiliate and request them to run all or a portion of this mornings GMA show, the better chances Gabriel has of coming home to his daddy.

Thank you all.

what about adding a plea to whoever has Gabriel to please make "public "a time sensitive photo maybe in front of the TV... just to let everyone know hes alive and being cared for......

Who said EJ was into fashion except her grandfather? I just took his statement to mean that EJ liked clothes and makeup...in other words, probably liked to shop and look fashionable. Did someone else say it??? Sorry, I try, but I must say, I've missed whole threads on this case.

Honestly, if the Smiths had been honest, out of the media and giving real help we would have been spending our time focusing on other things. I believe they are still hiding important info that would bring him home.

So I just got off the phone with my dad and hes never ridden on the Tornado Bus Line but hes HEARD from others riding on the bus line that its a Mexican run line and they all speak Spanish...I don't know if this means that they don't speak English at all. If so I suppose its possible she missed a stop if she can't speak Spanish. But he said on a greyhound it'd be pretty difficult to get anywhere far past where you were supposed to go since they recheck tickets often. He said sometimes they make rest stops and don't always recheck tickets then.

I just hope she likes her new wardrobe from Sheriff Joe's Fashion Boutique. :)

Gabriel was missing by then.

Missing means we don't know WHERE he is...

I feel like motives are a huge thing in understanding what happened.

Months ago, I used to blog with several people who lived in FL and the more research I would do on the case we were all following, the more the mainstream FL news stuck out as outright weird, violent and beyond average compared to other large cities. Crimes there against others, (including children) just seemed more rampant, violent and bizarre than anywhere else so I asked a few of the fellow FL bloggers what the deal was with their state. The answer I usually got was that they agreed and there take on it was because not only does FL have the 3rd highest population after TX and CA, but so many of FL's population are displaced people from other states ... but even more than that, that they believed that people just tended to gravitate toward FL when they wanted to start their lives over (and/or were running away from something) for whatever their reasons. FL is basically warm also which a few of them commented on because if you're fleeing somewhere else for a new life with little to no money, no job, no housing, etc and may end up homeless for awhile, better it be somewhere nice and warm, than cold. Not to mention it seems when you're running away and starting life over, it seems FL just seems to be a haven to attract those kind of people and usually they turn out to be quite nutty as a result.

I don't know why so many odd people with issues seem to end up in FL and in the news, but their responses to me above seemed to make at least a little sense. Maybe EJ wasn't unlike any of the others before her, deciding to start over in a nice climate, new name, new identity, far away from AZ on the opposite end of the country (with help it seems). Or, maybe she really was eventually trying to flee the country altogether and make it to who knows where going through Miami. Like the Anthony case, it seems the more that comes out about this case, the more confusing it gets. :banghead:

Had EJ worked at any chain restuarant, etc .. like Hardrock etc and could relocate and get a job there....or had one already set up....JMO

Do the motels in San Antonio have videotape of people who come and go? Elizabeth said that they have the couple who took the baby on videotape. If there's videotape it should be pretty easy for LE to see the times that Elizabeth left without the baby and what she was carrying, such as bags and to see which bag is missing. Probably too much to hope for though.

And thank goodness she had her nails done right before she got picked up in Miami! Hey...just saying. As much as I like L. Padilla as a character I wouldn't want him to swoop on over to the jail thinking that he could arrange for get her out to get out on bail, have her nails done in hopes she'd spill some info. like he did Casey. We really don't need another side show in this mess! We just need to find Gabriel.

I don't forsee her getting out of jail anytime soon with a $1.1 million cash only bond. Even if Leonard wanted to... MOO

I think Nancy choked on her foot while she was trying to insert it in her mouth the other day when the info came out that Tammi was a freaking liar!
Maybe she is still recovering.

As much as I would like someone to appear on TV (no Tammi and Jack), I am not confident that the media will respond to someone other than than Gabriel's father. He has had a low profile in this case...Tammi is (or was) in control. After this Wednesday, Tammi may have lost control once they handcuff her.

As far as a the time sensitive photo, it and many more were released on Good Morning America this morning. They have it all. Let them run with it!!!
