@CCJD - Unfortunately, that's not the picture I saw. The picture (or pictures, I believe there were two) were probably taken in the 60s maybe? IIRC, the man holding the skull was alone in one picture and was wearing clothing from about that time. The other was a crystal clear close up, and it was sitting on a rock or table, I can't remember. I'm almost certain they used to be in NamUs at one point. I usually get screen shots, but it appears I didn't. The close up had a great shot of the teeth and it was face-on.
@HmmMysterious -That's interesting they tried to get a DNA sample from her hair follicles but was unsuccessful. Do you have any idea when they tried to do that? I ask because, even in the short amount of time forensic genetic genealogy has been used to identify remains, the techniques and technology to collect a usable specimen have improved, and this new tech uses the hair strand, not the follicle. If this attempt was made around four or five years ago using previous methods, it may be worth attempting again, IMHO.
