Friday, May 17th:
*Motions Hearing (@ am AZT) - AZ – Chase J. Stanfield (39) & Gail Marie Stanfield (50) found dead from multiple gunshot wounds morning of Oct. 27, 2022, Whispering Pines subdivision of Payson. *Hunter Blair Stanfield (19/now 20) son arrested & charged (3/14/23), indicted (3/21/23) & arraigned (3/27/23) with 2 counts of 1st degree premeditated murder. Both of the victims were found dead from multiple gunshot wounds on the morning of 10/27/22 in their home in Payson, a town in central Arizona about 80 miles northeast of Phoenix. The home was not burglarized & there were no signs of a struggle.
3/14/23 Update: Gila County Sheriff's Detective Jamie Garrett said that they arrested Hunter this week after questioning him. "We did interview Hunter on Tuesday for [approximately] an hour & after that interview is when he was arrested for the crimes committed against his parents".

The article discussing his athletic ability was from April of 2022.

Hunter Stanfield enjoyed his best day of the season to lead a strong performance by the Payson boys track and field team at the Blue Ridge Invitational on April 8.
The senior won the triple jump in a personal-record 42 feet 10½ inches and placed second in the long jump in a PR 20-7.
