The child’s father, 29-year-old Anthony Eldridge, was arrested May 7 on felony counts including child abuse and aggravated assault.

Was the baby crying too loudly? Was the baby hungry and crying too loudly? Yeah, those babies surely can be a pain -- especially when they are just a few weeks old...
The news article above says, "significant and permanent brain trauma."
IMO, the bond amount set for "daddy" should be much higher.
Is there a mom around?

He’s a little sweetheart. Baby D has a twin, a mommy, & a big sister all who desperately want Baby D to heal and come home. He’s currently intubated & having seizures. Prayers & tears for this sweet baby, may uncompromised areas of his brain take over for the damaged areas, so he heals and 100% returns to his momma.

A few years ago I was following a toddler who was beaten by mama’s friend. The original prognosis was bleak. We were all amazed when this little guy woke up and started talking, asking for juice! Baby D miracles happen.

Baby Davis made it home in mid June! He’s now 7 mos old. He had a permanent feeding tube placed in July bc he has no swallow reflex, mom is hoping this will change as he gets older.
