When I put in my own address, I ONLY get the alley view, can't see the front yard at all. HOWEVER, when I rented it out and my tenants dogs destroyed the rear lawn, I was able to provide the alley-view photo (which had the Google watermark, etc.) showing the yard WITH GRASS. One of their grandchildrens' spring horse was in the photo, which disporved their claims that the yard had no grass when they moved in or at any time while they lived there. This was sufficient to back up my receipts from the lawn guy showing he had cut FRONT and REAR yards for me up until the week they took occupancy, and the judge found in my favor.

Oh. I was talking about street view on google maps, not google earth.

The photo you put up is the Celis' home and the pictures from Google are date back to 2008.

Okay but i was wanting to know because if the celis lived there at that time the camera is not facing the sky IMO.

The boys are having a hard time. Youngest is crying more. Oldest is like Becky, holding it in until in private. Wearing them down. Might send them back to school next week. boys did play in 1 game since Isa went missing.

They're ok financially, the fund is for finding Isabel.

You're prepared to pay a ransom? It's unusual for a family of normal means to talk about ransom.

He says that nothing had been mentioned about demands but he wanted to know why it happened, they're reaching out. When they first saw the reward, afahk it's anonymous donation money. They'd get rid of their cars if they had to

It's wearing on the boys, the youngest cries more, oldest cries more on his own like she does. Lots of quiet cuddle time and reassurance. It's wonderful to see them smile but it takes the smallest thing that they have to be held.
Next week they'll start talking to the school, they've played one game in Little League, team is supportive, he was there coaching and it was difficult but it's part of the healing, trying to get back to school, it's taking its toll and wearing the children down.

IIRC, I believe we figured out that they were living there at the time that Google Map picked up there home.

:seeya: Just saw your post and had to throw in my :twocents: fwiw :):

BBM: I went to Catholic School my entire life ... and we were taught that you do NOT wear the Rosary around your neck like a piece of jewelry ... NEVER ... "Back in my day", if you were caught doing this, you would have been "scrubbing" the convent and rectory floors ! Seriously, you would have gotten some sort of a "punishment" ...

However, more recently, I have seen people wearing it ... Now, whether they are not educated about the Rosary, or whether they are making a "statement", the way I was brought up it is not an acceptable way of "displaying" the Rosary ...

Sorry for the O/T ... BUT ... JMO and MOO MOO MOO ...

It really set off my "radar" when I saw the parents wearing the Rosary around their neck in their first interview -- AND --they did it again on the Today Show !

Now -- it would NOT have "set off my radar" IF the Rosary would have been in the Celis' hands -- that would have been "appropriate" use of the Rosary.

Again, JMO and MOO MOO MOO ... but I do NOT like to see ANYONE misuse the Rosary -- AND -- any other religious symbols ...

:moo:

We've discussed this in previous threads - different cultural groups view wearing the rosary differently. Catholic practice varies quite a bit among different regions and age groups. I really don't think you can determine anything from this, because religion is such a personal practice. What is "appropriate" for one person is very different from another.

Another question about poly, have you taken one?

They aren't allowed to talk about it.

She doesn't like to be in front of the camera. The first week she wanted to hide and cry. She is sorry if she was supposed to be here in front of the camera. She is crying saying she just wants Isabel home.

This is so weird. They already have closure. Sorry if this makes everyone ticked off. Something is VERY WRONG with the way they speak.

  • #956
Why haven't they been out there more?
She is not comfortable with cameras, she wanted to cry alone, needed to be with her children, sorry if they did it wrong, she doesn't want to be here, not have her family in front of the cameras, she just wants Isabel home, this is not them at all

We miss you so much, brothers miss you, never stop looking for you, want you more than anything else, we don't want to be here but will do it to get you home.

So tough to watch their pain.

They are participating, handing out fliers, going to the benefits.

I posted I was watching local KGUN 9 live on tv.

I can't even GO there. My employer has the site blocked because it has the word "GUN" in the URL. :banghead:
