JM didn't just speak one time, to one news source. He spoke multiple times with different news agencies. And every single one has him identified as an "uncle," info that would have come from him. So whether he's her uncle or not, he's identifying himself as such.

His interview with KGUN on that Saturday shows him being VERY active in the search on the very Saturday she went missing. Here's the video and article:

http://www.kgun9.com/news/local/148384415.html

Here he is talking to ABC News:

http://gma.yahoo.com/missing-arizona-girl-search-intensifies-k-9s-clue-143603524--abc-news-topstories.html

Here he is talking to CBS on Sunday. Please watch this video. He is actually seen talking with LE and directing them with a pointed finger:

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-505263_162-57418751/suspicious-circumstances-at-home-of-isabel-mercedes-celis-missing-ariz-girl/

He also spoke to KVOA, and I'm sure to other stations, too. This was just from a quick search.

Point: He was the "spokesperson" over multiple days, and seemed to be everywhere, handing out fliers, giving interviews, directing LE. And these are all different interviews, not one taped appearance.

And I firmly believe that was him at the neighbor's door at 8 a.m. asking about Isabel, aka what had she seen or heard?

NG and JVM reported that he used to live in the home.

I think the parents unwittingly let a predator in...

IMO, it is not so much that JM spoke to ABC, CBS etc., it is more that ABC, CBS etc., used the local media video (KVOA) on their shows.

All of the blue stuff above is my take on things. I could be misinformed.

Lisa, thanks for trying to answer. When you type in my quoted post, it might be mistaken as my words, and it is also difficult to respond to your answers. We cannot quote your answers. Does that make sense?

May I ask why everyone believes the bolded part?
That is what I am asking.

How are we connecting this uncle who by the next door neighbor's account on NG is JM? Does this neighbor say that it is the same guy who was on the news for example? Does she call him by name?
I personally cannot make the leap to assume that since JM was calling himself an uncle, that he was the one knocking on the door.

I also know that Isa has more than one uncle.

Here is his statement:
You don't think anything like that will happen to you and you wake up and you're in that scenario. Everything goes through your mind. Anger, confusion. They're very upset right now. Her mother is beside herself. We're just trying let the police do their thing and get as much information as we can."
"You wonder, is this happening. Is it a dream? You hear about it, but it's real," said Justin Mastromarino, Isabel's uncle.

Y'all, he was all OVER the news. He didn't make just one comment to one news station.

Posted some links above. There are more.

The neighbor never stated that the person on the news is the person at her door. She never used his name.

All I heard the neighbor state was that the police told the neighbor that it is his niece that is missing.

The parents said no one was in the home with them the night Isa went missing?? I missed that. Was it in the interview they did yesterday with local press?

Yes, that was in yesterdays interview.

JM was covered by the local news station and the "big wigs" ABC, CBS, NG, Jane, used the local media coverage on all their shows. All the shows showed the same coverage, just different portions of the initial interview by the local station.

No doubt she has more than one uncle, but I didn't see any of them with their mugs plastered all over tv stations within hours of her going missing.

I don't see any of them in videos "assisting" police, but I do see JM.

I think it's him who knocked on her door based on logic. It is clear that he was on the scene very early just based on media. It is also clear that is was NOT LR, her other uncle, because LR said it wasn't him on the JVM show.

Why else do I think that's him? Because it's been stated that he used to live in the house. Because he has a picture of Isa on his FB and dating pages.

Logic. Deduction. Speculation. Hunch. Call it what you will, but it seems like a lot of people are coming to that same conclusion.

Is BC's maiden name Snyder?

JM and his friend raise so many flags with me. I can explain JM disappearing from the media because I believe the parents most likely told him to, based on how they themselves didn't want to speak out. But, he can talk about his friends tattoo on FB but doesn't even have a flyer up, or anything. I dunno...

I absolutely, positively knew someone was going to say that. And it's not true.

The KGUN interview is with a KGUN reporter one-on-one. The ABC interview is with an ABC reporter. Etc etc.

BTW, I absolutely understand that stations share their coverage. But it is simply not true that he only spoke to one station, one time, and they are all sharing that one "source" video.

But I know I'm going to take a beat down for saying it, so I urge everyone to watch the videos for yourselves. I provided three links, and there's more. People can watch and see for themselves.

Sorry, insatiable, I was preparing lunch and just came back on line.

Yes, they answered that question in the interview with the local reporters.

My son looks exactly like one of my brothers. You can't really decide one's relationship based on looks.

JM doesn't favor either Becky or Sergio imo.

At this point, for me, whether it is all different interviews, or one interview and shared with others, at least someone in the family was saying something regarding Isa very early on.

I know that my "radar" is not focused on JM at all!

Wow, thanks for the one local link.
This was very informative.
Yes, we know that somehow the news media says he's the uncle. I don't see it anywhere stated by JM on tape, though.
My question is how do we know that JM is the same person who knocked on neighborh's door.

This story was aired on the news broadcast the Saturday Isa went missing--late Saturday night (it's dark when it says "live) then it moves to earlier tape -- 7 pm is when JM is interviewed per reporter @ 1:36 in the tape. I note that it is dusk in the interview. I also note that this is what all the other news media have quoted from JM in print. So it had been almost 11 hours of searching by the time JM was interviewed by reporters. Also of note is the reporter not calling him the family spokesperson.

This next ABC video is a clip from a local media that was shared with GMA. If we can find the original, we would have a better idea of when it was filmed. It is on the first day she went missing, and it appears IMO to be in the afternoon by the sun. It is on Saturday. This ABC calls him family spokesperson.

http://gma.yahoo.com/missing-arizona-girl-search-intensifies-k-9s-clue-143603524--abc-news-topstories.html

This video is the same tape as the ABC tape above, shared with CBS from a local news crew. He's saying the same thing, but I think there were multiple local cameras there (as I think they are different angles) but same moment in time.
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-505263_162-57418751/suspicious-circumstances-at-home-of-isabel-mercedes-celis-missing-ariz-girl

He was in front of the cameras on Saturday, the day Isa went missing in these videos. There are two times shown in the videos above. One looks like afternoon to me, and the other is 7 pm as identified by the reporter.

We never hear him call himself uncle on the tape, or family spokesperson. Both interviews above were on Saturday.

My question stands. How do we link JM with the "uncle" who knocked on neighbor's door.

Thanks again, very informative.

Thank you. I watched all three but didnt find anything strange about them. What am I missing?

We dont know. We dont even know which uncle it was.

It could be a great uncle for all we know.

Didnt JM say when he heard that Isa was missing is when he came there?

Wasnt he seen later on in the day talking with the media?

Whether JM is a cousin or an uncle I dont think he was there with the family that night but was one of the family members who arrived quickly once they heard Isa was missing.

PattyG, here is the news interview where the reporter has the floor plan of the house. Looks like he is at the assessor's office looking at microfilm. You can screen shot it ...

http://www.kgun9.com/news/local/150254045.html

Thank you. I did see that very short clip, and that is why I went looking for the info regarding the Assessor info on the Celis home being the wrong info since the Celis' home is not a 1.5 story home, but the house across the street is a 1.5 story home.

That floor plan graphic that the reporter is looking at shows on the left side a second floor.
