In a statement Friday, Tucson police spokesperson Sgt. Maria Hawke said detectives recently became aware of information regarding the welfare of the older Celis children.
Tucson police said the information was given to CPS for their consideration relating to police's investigation of Isabel's disappearance. Tucson police said CPS "instituted certain measures to ensure the continued welfare of the Celis children." Hawke did not elaborate.

If this was anything other then one of the parents recently becoming mentally instable over the situation, I doubt the information would be given to CPS "for their consideration".
I mean if one of the parents would have become the prime suspect in the disappearance of Isabel the whole consideration part would be skipped imo.
