I wouldn't feel quite as worried about this if not for LE practically having to beg them to speak out that first week or so...JMO
If one of the parents had a breakdown, even threatened suicide, why would CPS issue a "no contact" order? I can see the parent being involuntarily committed, but then they would be in a hospital and the boys could at least talk on the phone, text or write to their parent once they were stable. No contact means just that, NO CONTACT. I wouldn't think a court would issue that kind of order unless there was a clear and present danger to the boys.
Just jumping off you...
Has anyone seen this No Contact reported by any source *except* KVOA? I may be blind, but I'm not seeing it. And that could make a world of difference.
I think that is very logical thinking.
Things this traumatic are very hard on couples........even those who love each other very much. The stress has to be unbelievable and like I commented earlier I think Sergio is the more emotional of the two and maybe not as strong as Becky.
IMO

I have to disagree with you, friend. CPS placed the children with one parent and issued a no contact requirement in connection with the other parent. That is very, very serious. Essentially it means the children have been taken into state protective custody but physically released to a "safe" parent.
Not good when it comes to a parent's involvement in Isabel's disappearance. Not good at all.

CPS will demand that the non-violent parent get one or CPS will threaten the non-violent parent with removing their children.Would a protective order have to be filed against the parent in a domestic violence case?
I was floored when I saw Sergio sing Ave Maria, he comes across to me as a very caring and passionate man, Becky on the other hand seems very cold and distant but I misjudge people all the time and get screwed over and walked over and spit on for it so dont put any stock in my ability to be cynical and jaded. I tend to think the best of people even though humanity constantly lets me down, I am not one to learn from mistakes I guess! =)
Maybe one of the parents is mentally unstable due to Isabel missing for so long now, maybe a danger to him/herself and therefor for the children.
(Since neither one of the parents is detained)

Okay...
From radioreference.com here are the downloaded scanner chat files for the whole day of the 21st. The time that radioreference.com used to name them is an hour off (i'm sure because of the non daylight savings time thing).
Enjoy.

Understood, I am not going to lie to you, I am a man and 99% of the people in this thread are likely women and yes it chaps myto no end that everyone automatically jumps to the conclusion that it is the father.
It may be the father but we do not know, in fact BECKY the mother has MORE RECENT criminal charges INCLUDING CHILD ENDANGERMENT than Sergio does, all of Sergio's charges where when he was like 22 years old her was like 8 years ago long after it would be expected that one would grow out of doing the sort of stupid crap you do when youre young, like Sergio did.
This may be a case where one parents is simply depressed maybe drinking heavily and it isnt doing the kids any good to be around it, if my kid was missing I would be a freaking basketcase too, Who knows what is going on.
Yes I understand we are all here to speculate and throw out what we think is happening but that still doesnt mean it doesnt chap myas a man when everyone blames the father immediately without any evidence to suggest he did anything wrong.
Just my two cents dont pay any attention to me...
If they called relatives before calling 911, I am sure LE is aware of it...
So far, I am just not seeing much to be wary of, re: the call.

Isabel Celis' older brothers are now staying with only one of their parents and a relative, Tucson police said Friday.
The decision on the children's living arrangements was made after Child Protective Services met with the parents and Tucson police, said Lt. Fabian Pacheco, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.
Pacheco would not say which parent the boys were staying with, citing the ongoing investigation.
