Well, the article states the body has been likely been there for several months so I doubt that is Isabel.

  • #622
... really don't think related, decomp suggests remains were there several month's and if body was recognisable LE would have said as much. Whilst AZ is hot it's also dry and the rate of decomp might be slightly higher but an ME knows what there are looking at to be able to say 'several months'

You are right. I just read the article!

LE have found a body near ranch west of Tucon. They are saying looks a few month old and not saying anything else like m or f or anything like that. That is odd as they alway's state appears to be M or F. hmm

Do you mean a body that has been there a few months or a few months old as in age?

  • #624
That's out of TPD jurisdiction, actually. PCSO responded. PCSO isn't online w/their scanner frequency. It seems like it's near Marana/Rillito, but could be off a bit there.

"Pima County Sheriff's Department deputies responded Sunday morning to a report of a body found in a remote area west of Tucson.
Shortly after 11 a.m. deputies responded to the 14100 block of West Manville Road, west of North Avra Road, and found a deceased person, said Sgt. Dawn Barkman, a sheriff's spokeswoman.
The area where the body was found is near Agua Blanca Ranch. A person found the body lying out in the open, Barkman said.
Homicide detectives took over the investigation, and detectives said the remains appear to have been there for several months.
The cause of death, sex or identity of the victim are not known, Barkman said."

Has been out in the elements a few months. But it has been in the 90's here .

Video in post #615 says RC is headed back to Douglas, AZ. :what:
Was it RC headed back to Douglas, AZ or RC's mother? I think it was RC's mom who was headed back to her home in Douglas. She has been with RC for 3 weeks. RC's dad is now married to the "uncle's/cousin's" mom, so it appears RC's parent's are not together as a couple.

Isn't the mother of Sky prevented from any contact with her other child?
LE has made it pretty clear they do not believe her story...can't arrest her as yet, apparently, but still, I think this "no contact" order has been in effect since they decided her story was false. That is one case I can think of with a "no contact" order...JMO

No. The news just said she spent the day with her mother and her mother headed back to Douglas this evening.

I believe RC's Mom was heading back to Douglas, since from that statement they launched into how helpful her Mom has been through this all.

When ? And is it known if she's moving there with the kids ? Or going there for some other reason ? Isn't Douglas right by the border ? Her family lives down there, right ?

ETA Oh it's RC's MOM who's going to Douglas...

Please don't let this be another 'boy in the balloon' story!

My observational opinion on the recent interview of RC is that she feels more secure about the situation now that SC is not present. Her diminor reads as if she is not very far from being out of the woods in reuniting with Isabel and IMO she appears to show some indications that there is not much to be concerned about at this point as if to say it's merely a matter of reuniting with her daughter and waiting for LE and CPS to .. as Uncle put it " do thier deal "

And there's a prime example of how one thing gets misheard and suddenly incorrect info is put out that RC is headed "back to Douglas, AZ" rather than the accurate info...RC's mother is headed back to Douglas after visiting RC in Tucson for the last 3 weeks.

If the simplest of facts are misheard and wrongly repeated, imagine what would happen if LE actually did release all the details they've gathered in a case! It would ruin their case and create a mosh pit of wrong info and cases would be compromised when they got to the DA's office.

It'd be like a chorus of Emily Litella's loose. (a famous character created by Gilda Radner in the 1970's Saturday Night Live)

I find RC's interview today very sad. I did not see any hope there. She's leaving it up to fate.

The whole thing is so odd considering that today was not only Mother's Day, it was the 15 year anniversary of her marriage to Sergio.
(give her crystal, a crystal ball)

Maybe she's taking this one day to make it about her, as the interview seemed about her loss. As opposed to the reasoning provided for previous reluctance to be in the public eye.

The whole thing is so sad to me, and very puzzling.
I understand LE's statement about the complexity of this case, more and more every day now.

Oh!! You could be right about RC mother is headed back to Douglas.

RC's mom is now married to Mr. Hector Rodriguez. He's her step-dad as far as I can discern. Video of Hector R.: video states he is Isa's MATERNAL grandfather

Her 1/2 brother ... Louis Rodriguez has also spoken on camera. Becky's maiden name is Snyder. Her mom remarried Hector. JMO

She was able to have monitored or monitored and therapeutic visitation, which could be halted if her therapist felt it was detrimental to her, but she never tried to have even one visit. She kind of just gave up custody, much like Terri Horman.

Where is this location compared to Isabel's home? TIA

14100 block of West Manville Road, west of North Avra Road,

It's WAYyyyy west of her home. About thirty miles or so and well out of Tucson proper (near Picture Rocks).

This is likely ranchland.
