Does mom ever work overnight shifts at the hospital?

When the cat's away
The mice will play
But CPS may catch you one day

Why would he return to the scene of the crime the following night at the same time (as seen on video)? Especially since media and LE were everywhere, and he was lurking right near the "Command Center". That doesn't add up for me.

Sorry if it's been answered already, but we have been SPECULATING (in caps, so it's not misunderstood as a FACT) that the surveillance tape wasn't for the night AFTER she was taken (noting the absence of media and LE in the video) and instead was some evening PRIOR to her abuction.

I agree!! It almost takes a murder to get kids taken away from bad parents. Just like nixmarry brown. She was killed. Cps are always in trouble.

  • #264
From my understanding she usually works 7am-7pm, but might go in a bit early/stay a few minutes late for paperwork/reports. I am unsure how long she has been working this shift though or if she sometimes switches shifts, takes on other shifts.

Just curious... what leads you to feel/believe that? I'm SOooo not dead-set on any single, exclusive theory here, so would love to hear some input. Within the ToS here, of course.

I think this meant the person who knows something is the boys, NOT that the boys (minors!) did something to Isabel.

I have no experience with CPS and don't know of anyone that has. What are the types of things that someone might report? I've heard of CP being called for abusive situations in a home, either sexual, physical or mental. I would imagine someone might call if the kids were not being taken care of such as wearing dirty clothes, living in a dirty home or being outside on the street, etc. by themselves. Would people call if there was a lot of people coming and going at all hours? Would they call if they thought there was some type of criminal activity in the home? I'm not saying any of these things did happen in this case, I'm just truly curious as to other reasons for calling CPS.

I think this meant the person who knows something is the boys, NOT that the boys (minors!) did something to Isabel.

Yes, that is exactly what I meant. I think one or both boys heard or saw something that happened in the house. I DO NOT think the boys were involved in any way with Isabel's disappearance.

I am surprised that it took a month for this news about CPS to surface.

BBM

I think you're right, and I think it may be the son/sons.

My comment was in answer to a statement that someone knows what happened the night Isabel disappeared. I think one or both boys know something - NOT that they were involved.

I admit I am at a loss and puzzled by the latest news of the CPS incident in December of last year.

Whatever it was at that time Sergio was not removed from his home nor is there any record that LE arrested him for this incident. The only records I have seen to do with the children are Beckys and the child endangerment while DUI.

So imo, Isa was right there in December and if there had been an allegation of sexual abuse of Isa CPS would have had her checked out by a doctor immediately to see if she had been molested. So I dont think it has to do with Isa.

But could Sergio have a drinking problem? I wondered if this was around Christmastime. and if he does, can he become emotionally abusive to the boys. Some coaches can be overly hard on their own children who play sports and some dads seem to be much harder on their boys in general than their daughters.

It is now been since May 11th that he agreed to leave his home. He has not been arrested for any crime or that would have hit the news in neon lights and is seen coming and going where he lives.

That is what leaves me puzzled because when CPS and LE is aware of abusive acts toward children they will arrest the abusive parent and forceably remove him from the home and not give him an option to agree. They would go with the testimony of the child or children and also Becky who lived there plus any physical examinations.

imo

When did the CPS incident in 12/11 come to light?

With the new release of CPS' involvement back in December, to me it looks like this "abduction" has to be an inside job, not necessarily the parents (but...), at least someone close to the family. Sure, it could have been a coincidence (CPS came out there 1x based on something, found nothing, no big deal). But, to me, these cannot continue to be coincidences. They mean something.

(snip - re: car)

According to unconfirmed sources, A cousin or uncle lived with the family for part of 2011. 2011 ended (obviously) in December. CPS was in contact with the family in December.

If the family had decided to allow the cousin or uncle, who may or may not be JM, to use Isabel's room while getting settled in the area, this would explain the (similarly unconfirmed) assertion that Isabel slept in the boys' room. Perhaps in a sleeping bag or bedroll, on a cot, or in a pup tent. We do not know for sure that she shared a BED with either boy. It is possible that the oldest of the sons was venting to his friends about having to share his room with the "babies" including his sister, and how he had no privacy. CPS would NOT approve of this sleeping arrangement, and this COULD POSSIBLY have been the end of the line for the houseguest, as Isabel had to return to her own room. It would not necessarily mean anything inappropriate happened to Isabel or the boys, but that CPS has certain guidelines about opposite gendered children sharing sleeping space.

If I had a family member, besides one that was elderly or something, that person could surely sleep on the couch instead of me giving up my daughters room and making her sleep with one of her brothers, if that is indeed how it happened.

* SPECULATION*

Wonder how much of the rumors about kidnapping, etc. began when SC made the dramatic plea " tell us your demands " ?

Wonder if he was setting up his cover story right then and there ? Just like his overnight cover story that he slept on the sofa that night ?

I can see this case going the way of CA'S case. And that's if it ever does come to trial....

I'm thinking that if it's something benign like that we are going to hear an explanation from the family pretty soon, rather than let people speculate about more sinister stuff.

I believe if it was something in the sexual nature the children would have been removed before this...
Now if its neglect (like the dog) maybe they have a cps worker there every week or so.

Maybe younger kids were left alone alot!
Neighbors could have reported them for something or the school.

We can sit here and guess and guess till the cows come home.

I do think it will eventually come out!

I can't speak for AZ, but in MD, a child of 8 may be left at home alone provided he or she is able to pick up a phone and call for help if needed.

A child of 13 is considered old enough to be left in charge of siblings under 8.

I believe her!
times seem right!

And i can hear ppl taking 4 houses away,,,cant understand what they say but u can hear them. And im sure if she heard the dogs barking and her dog was barking others heard it also!
They just dont want to go on tv and say so!

They did say a group was walking down the street they have them on camera
and i sure thats what she heard and thats why the dogs barked!

I seem to think Isabel went missing way before 6 30 am

All JMO

Please, can you link to this? The only groups I knew about was the group that walked down Cooper the following night, and Sergio and son walking around about 8am looking for Isabel. If there is any mention of a group caught on camera at 6:30am, or better yet, the actual video, I must have missed it.
