You know one of the scary possibilities that crossed my mind was the "scent dogs" came after the search warrants issued that the chief said was not the Celis home but other homes in the area. What if they took scents from these homes to see if those scents were picked up by the dogs. For instance they took a RSO scent or another "unnamed suspect" and got a hit of this scent by the dogs??? But they don't want to realease that info cause they havent found the person?? They said they had searched homes with search warrants but did not say or mention if those people being searched were there or cooperative etc... But then again as Im typing to me that would be enough info to issue amber alert for suspected perp...so maybe not but still is weighing on my mind as a possible "hit". I know we have a thread somewhere that lists the types of SAR dogs out there or something similar(maybe we cant discuss all the types not sure) but if we do can someone link it here?

OMG .....

There is nothing wrong with two parents putting a child to bed.

Many of her co-workers have also spoken out, they seem to think very highly of her.

I wish we could hear about the families activities that Friday night prior to her abduction.

I have been bothered throughout the day about the alleged "timeline" - that Isabel was put to bed at 11:00PM and discovered missing at 8:00AM when the parents went into her room to awaken her.

Why was the 6-year-old going to bed so late after a long day at school? Seems awfully late for a child this age to stay up unless there was some kind of special activity that we've not heard about.

Why was Isabel expected to get up at 8:00 the next morning? Did she have some type of scheduled activity? Dance lesson or something like that? Again, we haven't heard anything about the child's activities or interests.

Beth says there was an "alert" in the house.

It is really important to know if Isabel's mother looked in on Isabel before going to work.

I was wondering about why they would put her to bed at 11 p.m. It just seems so late to me. However, a quick check of activities show the county fair was going on this past weekend, as well as baseball games, which could have put the family home late. FYI

Started within a 3 mile radius. No comment whether or not the neighbours heard anything. They're looking within inner circle and then look at others.

(paraphrasing)

JVM: A stranger wouldn't know how to remove the screen? Huh? Is that what she said?

I heard a stranger would not know which window would lead to Isa's bedroom.

Beth says there was an "alert" in the house.

She doesn't know which dog made the hit per Sgt. Maria Hawke. Scent/tracking dog or cadaver dog.

Whew!!!!!!!!!!! 20 pages in 20 minutes I just did. Anyone have a quick link to the scanner for me? I have the scanner up but would like the WEBSLEUTHS Scanner thread to post in if necessary-thanks in advance.

And before I forget-as if I ever could-the photo of Beautiful Isa in her painted Halloween face just destroyed me........destroyed me for God's sake.

I can't stand this but thank God we are all here.

BetteDavisEyes, Isabel had a baseball game Saturday morning.

Another thought that just came to mind. The police chief said they were unsure of the point of entry...he said this a couple of times. What if this person had snuck in and waited on them to go to sleep and grabbed Isa and only went "out" the window???

  • #192
We don't know if the window was Isabel's room. Not sure why NG is saying it is Isabel's room when that is not true. :banghead:

Can't confirm an entry point...

This LE spokesperson has not been to the house...
Says screen was present, just off the window...not "torn away"...no signs of force, or concrete evidence to support that it was forcefully pulled off...

The picture shown on Nancy show with red circles around the windows, IMO, are the windows in the garage, not the house.

Did anyone see that photo on the show?

Sorry, but producer Ellie never knows anything...JMO

I can't believe she interrupted Beth Karas when she was talking about the screen. I turned her off. I'll read the transcripts tomorrow morning.

Patty G, you should put a pillow between your head and that wall...it's only going to get worse!

Seeing some of these pictures is killing me. All locations where we take out little ones.

I appreciate the posts about Isabel's softball game. All the more reason why a 6-year-old should have been in bed earlier than 11:00PM. :moo:
