I get very frustrated when the spokesperson does not have answers to basic questions (different than knowing but admitting that they can't answer)...not the case on that particular question, so Yay?

maybe they are not sure if they want to answer that question yet and have to reflect before answering it?

just throwing that thought out there..

I can bet that they know if she was at school on friday :moo: of course

I did catch him talking about "cumulative" information...info that did not at first seem important may become important as the investigation goes on. Kinda "duh" but wish we knew specifics, as usual.

Mic was open at the end...some reporters? talking about something unusual about whether there is a reward offered by the family or not..."usually we're told..."....hmmmm.

In "twalls" post #444, I am trying to find that alley way shown in the photo on google maps. I can't match up "google map" street view to the picture in post #444. HELP!!! TIA

ETA: I am thrown off by the tree in the media photo to the google street view, as well as the telephone pole in the street view and not in the media photo.

The photo I posted with the tree in it is a view of the opposite end of the alley from Isabel's home.

The photo with the light pole is right by her house. The alley is right beside the fence in the pic you posted pointing out the hinges.

The alley is located between the 150 block of S Van Buren Ave and ?. I don't see a name for the side street running beside Isabel's house. It looks like an alley that turns into E. Scarlett St.

I found the alley by the house on Google Maps..the image is from 2008...there are hinges on two sides, widely separated, it looks like a big gate, big enough to allow cars in the back yard...looks like a (unfortunately) good way to slip in the back yard and not be seen from the road.....

Yep, I agree. That is a gate. This is exactly why I put padlocks on my gate latches.

Someone saw evidence being removed from a car (reporter). (He dances around this - basically saying he does not know, etc)

Open dialogue with the family.

Does the family have an attorney? He doesn't have that information.

Didn't catch the "agency" part...wonder if this is about the fund started....where a representative was filmed yesterday saying that TMC employees are doing payroll deductions...I presume this is Mom's employer...on that broadcast, the reporter said that the station would put up a link on the website. Probably was KVOA since that's mostly what I've watched...

I have those photos as I posted the pic of the fence with the gate. What I am trying to find on "google maps" is the area where the media posted the picture of the alley way with the yellow tape in post #444.

Good question.Possible that Isabel forgot to close the gate,or didn't close it properly ? MOO

I'm among those who don't want to belabor the "dog" issue, but kids do the darnedest things sometimes In our previous home, a previous pet (beagle) with true hunting instincts used to "escape" through an open door faster than a jack rabbit. He'd come home eventually but was sometimes gone for hours at a time. On a few occasions, neighbors would call to say that they had Max, and when kids brought him back, I would give them quarters for their efforts.

The same two boys returned Max a few times, and one day I caught them letting our dog off his backyard leash! Needless to say, I began to suspect that this was the case more often than not, and I let them know that I was onto their game and that there would be no more quarters for returning Max :couch:
