Was a related adult there that night?

He was very evasive. Definitely something there. Why can't they say Mom and/or Dad put her in bed? Or Dad went to wake her up? MOO

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police are searching for a 6-year-old girl who went missing from her home on the city's east side.

Isabel Mercedes Celis was last seen late Friday and discovered to be missing at about 8 a.m. Saturday.

Sgt. Maria Hawke says police are searching the area around East Broadway Boulevard and Craycroft Road using street patrols, canines, detectives and a helicopter.

She's described as just under 4-feet-tall and weighing 44 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

In the photo, there appears to be hinges, of which, could very well be a door on the fence leading to the backyard.

Photo taken off google map "street view".

It's a double door. Definitely for a car to drive into the back yard.

The photo I posted with the tree in it is a view of the opposite end of the alley from Isabel's home.

The photo with the light pole is right by her house. The alley is right beside the fence in the pic you posted pointing out the hinges.

The alley is located at the 150 block of S Van Buren Ave and ?. I don't see a name for the side street running beside Isabel's house. It looks like an alley that turns into E. Scarlett St.

Still confused (as I am OLD). There is no light pole in the media photo, but it is in the "google street view". There is a big tree in the media photo, but not in the "google street view".

ETA: See my post #525 comparing the media photo to what we believe is the "google street" photo of the same spot.

Parking lot to the East of Isabel's house, just across a one lane side street.

Yes(it's actually west of the home) The Office Max is probably closed up by 10pm....if they had any surveillance footage showing something/someone in that parking lot, I suspect something would have been said by now.....

Like some of you, I also feel that too much weight is being given to the dogs also. There are too many variables to be discussed for it to matter. Until we have the facts, we just don't know. They could have slept far away from Isabel's room and not heard anything.

I think the reason why we are questioning this so much is because a dog's barking sends out an alert that a stranger is present. If the person responsible was a family member or "known" person, then they wouldn't bark.

I, for one, am not ready to blame the parents. I think that the quick 911 call is enough evidence for me (at the moment) to hold onto hope that they are innocent. Mom was at work and left immediately to come home after she was notified of her daughter's disappearance.

I am with you. I also note dad didn't check at 10:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. after a sick "ahem" child was put to bed hours and hours before, for example. He looked in her room at 8:00 a.m.

Do we know what time mom went to work?

They just seem like a normal family with three, adored kids. Maybe I am projecting because they remind me of my own - two older brothers and a little girl. But, I just don't get the "vibe" from this family. Lots of extended family around it seems, friends, etc.

My feeling is someone who knew or saw this little girl, waited for the perfect opportunity. Isabel is a stunning, beautiful kid - striking to look at and very sweet. Just precious. I can imagine how some weirdo could fixate on her. Horrible thought.

Dear Lord, please, please let this baby come home. Please!

Police: 'Everyone is a person of interest' in case of missing girl

Two dogs from the FBI are in Tucson, specifically trained in searched urban areas, Villasenor said. One dog is training in tracking scents, the other is a cadaver-sniffing dog.

I hope the FBI is working closely with local LE on this case. Someone posted an article about how these cases are hard to solve and one of the reasons, in part, was local, badly trained, understaffed LE being too arrogant to accept help from the FBI.

The media photo is not her house...it's a pic of the other end of the alley that runs behind the house....

You are right. I knew it was West but my "brain" wrote East.

That is exactly what I heard this morning on CNN. Seems that all reporting needs to be the same. Who do you trust for factual info? jmo

The media photo was taken at the opposite end of the alley from Isabel's house. Her house is not in the picture.
It intersects at the 150 block of S. Van Buren St. In the street view you can see the tree, it is smaller and brown at the top but it is there.

Here is the Google map street view.

Was coming to post this. Attached are the pics of her street from Van Buren.

ETA This is not Isabel's house. It is the house all the way on the end of Isabel's Street.

Reward poster (Post #511) says Mom left at 7:30 am and Dad woke the kids up at 8:00 am.
