I always use "my son" or "my house" when my ex-husband wasn't with me as I was talking to a friend (never talked to a reporter before).

If my ex was standing next to me, then I would use "our" son, "our" house.

Me too. :)

I don't know, but clearly Becky doesn't think either one was a threat to Isa. With my little one (9 yo), she has kicked, yelled in other kids' faces, mostly the aggressive behavior is aggravated when one of them tries to tell her what to do. Though there were days when I dreaded to pick her up from school because every day was a bad day (last year) before the meds, I would NEVER think she is capable of causing serious injury to anyone. So, if it is ADHD, I can relate to Becky in that aspect (not believing the child would be capable of harming his sister).

I don't know if it is ADHD. I think there are 7 letters in that redacted part.

I can understand that, I guess.

As you can see when I talk about our children or our home I use 'our.' Just for me personally, I think if parents have a child together then the child is theirs not one or the others and if they have property together it is theirs ......not just belonging to one.

I mean nothing by it Patty G. It just one of the things that bothers me when I hear a mother do it for some reason. It is just a quirk I have.

May me no mind. :)

At the vigil, she said "our boys and my daughter"...so that sounded weird...IMO

It maybe weird, but under the circumstances being at a vigil for Isa, and a reporter sticking a mic in her face, I just feel it is what it is, with no underlying meaning. IMO.

Respectfully, as the parent of a child with ADHD, I do not think that having ADHD makes anyone more prone to killing a sibling.

I know some kids with ADHD have aggressive traits, buy c'mon, it's not like they are sociopaths.

And where is the proof that one of the boys has ADHD? Not challenging, just asking.

Just had to put my two cents in. :)

In one of the docs there is the statement that one of the boys has ____ then the followup question is if he could have hurt her and the mother said NO. I know from my own experiance with a person who did'nt always take his meds that this could have happened. It's any parent with a child with psycosis issue's worst nightmare. Not saying for sure that this is what happened but having read that in the PDF's it's not something in my mind that is impossible. It's a theory its not something I care to dispute for 4 pages.... It's merely another angle.

yeah, i know how to use it as i work in adobe almost everyday lol
my eyes too were tired LOL...i just didnt know if someone had the info readily available..

i will go look since i dont think anyone does... :D

ETA....wasnt he there when police arived? or did he suddenly just take off and dissapear?

IIRC He walked up with the Rodriquez', Becky's side of the family. I don't recall him being there when the police arrived, but I was scanning pretty fast and just noticed his name. I think packet #2 if that helps.

Found it Page 41 packet 2

I don't think they will find blood on the shower curtain & if there is, I doubt it would be from Isabel. IF they got rid of her body wouldn't he have gotten rid of the shower curtain at the same time? I just don't think anyone would be that stupid so to speak.

When my son did something wrong he was 'my' son and when he did something good he was my husbands son!
I don't see the use of my/our/daughter to mean that much, but that's just me.

Well, I scanned most of the docs. And, I am still on the fence on this one. Has anyone changed their view since the doc dump? From reading here it seems to me that everyone who thought the family was guilty is finding stuff to confirm that they are, and everyone who thinks they aren't is finding stuff to confirm that they aren't. Lol, at least we have more to talk about. Oh, and pass the popcorn, I'm heading back in to the PDFs!

Yah never know... could still be some sort of scenario like that.. maybe did'nt even involve SC but since the body would have had to have gone somewhere I kinda have to factor him into it. That scenario has happened in the past... I know you never want to think of something like that happening but it does. There was a case just recently where a 13 year old lured his little sister over to a tree and hung her. I really wouldn't put anything past a child these days exp a kid with psycosis issues.

ADHD is not a psychosis issue/disorder, it is a behavioral and developmental disorder. It's usually treated with stimulants (uppers). Psychotic disorders are treated with sedatives (downers).

I think the items found in the red car is a red herring.

If there had been ANYTHING that connected Isa's disappearance to that car LE would have immediately impounded the vehicle.

I know I may be crazy but I do keep my old shower curtains. They make excellent drop cloths when I paint which is very very often whether it is for us at home or at one of our friend's home.

Im lost again. Where is the ADHD coming from? Was that in one of the files?

If not, with the boy being 14 I think LE would have to ask Becky that question.

for some reason (not sure why) i thought he was there before police, so i was wondering why he had not been interviewed. lol

Well now, that pretty much shows JM wasn't living there when Isa went missing, and also was not there to knock on the neighbor's door.

It was the general consensus that JM was there, because of the short media interviews that happened, as well as the neighbor stating that the police said the person that knocked on her door was the "uncle". Somehow people put two and two together and had JM living in the house.

:floorlaugh: something like that!

just wondering if he was interviewed - i cant find it in the stuff we have - since he was there that morning...

and if he was not interviewed, why not?

Or maybe he (JM) was interviewed and that statement is actually pertinent to this case and therefore was not released.

any kind of psycological misfunction is considered a form of psycosis which does not mean psycotic.

I still dont think Sergio is involved.

Nothing in the files convinced me otherwise. In fact I am even more convinced he isnt involved.

JMO though
