Probably not much but I was watching a story on the Powel family this am and Isa came to mind, when the dad started getting very strange (ok stranger than he already was, how about paranoid) and not wanting anyone to have any contact with his boys, because he was afraid they would spill the beans...
Also, wonder if the boys know something that the dad doesn't want anyone to know, or they found out that dad isn't the dad? I dunno just pulling things out of the air.

It seems in that case, Josh Powell not wanting anyone around his boys was for control. IMO SC wouldn't just agree to no contact if he really was afraid that they would say something incriminating against him. Still not sure the reason CPS is keeping them apart though...It must be very hard to not be together during all of this.That being said CPS must have good reason to do so? IDK

why would they arrest someone if
1.) they found out he isn't the father to one of the children
2.) what else would the DNA prove?

That is seriously pretty far fetched - but I doubt if that was the case he would be asked to stay away.

SC and RC do not have to agree to the NCO . They can just not comply.Hire an attorney. However, if they did do that CPS might well go to court. SC would have to give a deposition.Under oath. Perhaps he does not wish to do this ?

But, the boys do not have to be separated from either parent... Just a thought. MOO

I have confidence in LE in this case. If any member or all members of the family is involved, I doubt very highly the family will get away with what would amount to not only a horrible crime, but a horrible hoax.

IMO I don't see this family as capable of said hoax, but I have by no means seen everything humans are capable of as evidenced when I watch news daily
For over a month the same suggestions keep coming up in the media and all over the internet about the family... For me personally, there's much more to explore in possible non-family involvement...

JM's criminal records is no biggie! He likes to drink and drive, gets caught, at some point on expired driver's license and smokes weed.

OF course, drinking and driving is serious, but heck, there are so many folks at 22 and up guilty of the same.

JMO, and maybe this isn't how you intended it, but offenders that are sexually attracted to children have a variety of "victim types", they don't only take children and abuse them based on their beauty or lack of. Some like dark hair, some like light hair. Some like petite, some like huskier children. Some have a specific age group they prefer. Like many victimizers (serial rapists, serial killers), they tend to pick the "type" that they are attracted to, not just any random child.

FWIW, I do believe this is a person who is attracted to children that took Isa. I just don't believe it's a known RSO. The majority of the time it is a yet to be caught offender or if it is a RSO, the person has slipped through the cracks and is not where he is supposed to be. Like what happened with John Couey in the Jessica Lunsford case.

In this case, I do not even have the RSO a couple doors down on my radar. As far as Sergio's statement, I believe he was trying to humanize his daughter in the eyes of whoever has her. I'm with Ocean on this--nothing sinister IMO.

To be honest...I didn't raise this point to show that SC is "sinister ". I really have never felt that he is sinister

I live on the east coast up here in the NE and had a convo recently with a guy who lived in Tucson for 9 years. He's about 34 now. He mentioned he moved out there in his early 20's because he was really into weed, growing it and what not. He said he worked at a take out liquor spot where customers would buy glass flowers and use them as crack pipes. Said the whole town is really seedy and like the wild wild west.

That being said, he informed me the amount of marijuana around town is so abundant and cheap that you can get a large quantity for a little bit of money, being that it's coming right over the border.

Perhaps JM is sticking around for that, and sending it back to FL. I'd check UPS, Fedex, USPS for surveillance or check to see if any employees have seen him. It's really making me scratch my head that he was super involved in the beginning and has just disappeared from the spotlight. The only thing I can think of about his actions are he is either involved in the disappearance, of he maybe involved in some serious illegal activities.

Please chime in and poke holes if necessary.

IIRC, LE took cheek swabs from the entire family and blood, only from the parents?

Would you need both blood and a cheek swab for a DNA profile (parents)? Has it been stated that LE took blood from the parents for a drug test? I assumed it was for DNA purposes only.

Cheek swabs could have been drug tests - immediate results. I thought bloods for DNA but only to get Isabel's DNA on file. moo

Our town is not seedy and like the wild west. LMAO... Yes we do have an abundance of weed, since we are so close to the border, and it is cheaper then the east coast. But we are not some crazy non law abiding town LOL...I have been here my while life, 37 years. Im not trying to be mean to you or your quote, I think its funny cause that is far from the truth.
