How far is the location of the remains from the Celis' home?

ETA: After reading several news reports, it sounds like LE doesn't believe the remains are those of Isabel Celis.

May not be Isabel... But I, too, am still interested in relationship between location of remains and Celis home...

Off to try to find/make map...

Darn... It didn't work...:banghead:

However... Just type in Irvington and 12th Street, Tuscon AZ (this is near where remains were found, per [tusconnewsnow.com -3-4-14] article) , and you will find it is about 10 miles/15 minutes driving time between the two locations...

Who else could it be? What other child is missing from that area??

  • #567
DO we know if it had blood or Isabel's DNA on it? Can't recall. TIA

No and I do not believe it was Isa's blood on it. If so the family would have been arrested. It probably turned out to be old paint or even rust spots.

I'm still on the fence about the father's involvement.
I have always thought it was uncle JM that harmed Isabel and then disposed of her body. Maybe he told the dad what he did and the dad's afraid to say anything for whatever reason. But I honestly don't think he was directly responsible.

One of these days (hopefully), we will know the truth!

I have never believed either parent was involved.

I don't know how TPD can say already this isn't Isa when the child was just found yesterday. Maybe it is a very small child much younger than Isa and that is how they know.:(

Whoever the child is I hope that justice is served.

If this child turns out to never be reported missing then it is a good assumption imo it was done by a family member.

I gave a gut feeling this isn't Isabel, but some other poor abused child. And I think SC has everything to do with his daughter's disappearance.

Help!
Does the location on the pictured map shown on the article look a little different from the map you posted? It says S 12th Ave, north of W Nebraska, and also shows W Idaho on the map.

At least you know how to post them!
I think they may have north, south, east and west streets with the same name.

Yes... The NSEW factor is important... Isn't it...

I am not familiar with Tuscon at all... So maybe a local would be so kind as to post an accurate map...

Treats for their efforts!

You do such a good job with maps, probably just as good as a local, so here's some treats for you (except I don't know how to find them)!
I'll give you two cups of coffee and two cupcakes for your efforts!

This video says the remains were found in the 700 block of West Idaho. Maybe we can get a map for that location compared to Isa's home.
The reporter doesn't seem to know if the remains were from an adult, man, female or child or who found them.
