As I went to lunch, a young man, looked to be a teenager, was handing out flyers wtih Isabel's pic on them from the traffic island on Craycroft, south of Bway. It is hotter than hell today and even hotter out there in the middle of traffic. Not to mention is illegal to hang out like that on the traffic island. He was not there an hour or so later when I returned. I understand the desire to do SOMETHING, anything but that's just dangerous, I think. Tucson drivers are not the most attentive as it is...

I was posting fliers this morning in my neighborhood (Ajo & Mission area). I ran out of fliers before I could get down the other end of Ajo, so I went home. It was just before 10am and it was already getting hot! I'm getting more fliers and will post more in the morning, but I'm going to make sure I have more than my little bottle of water this time ;)

Will keep the command post in place.

Tips still coming in. FBI BSU is meeting with investigators as we speak.

Family has still not returned to the house.

90 to 95% of the area homes they have made contact with. Some may be foreclosed homes, abandoned homes, but they are keeping their presence in the area in case they return to their homes.

Watched Vinnie's coverage on HLN. Don't know why I still watch him. I used to love him but he's been getting on my nerves lately.

Anyway, he was obsessed with the dogs not barking and he thought it was interesting and of course, Mike Brooks chimed in with the Lisa Irwin case and the neighbours dogs barking at him and Jim Spellman when they were there but stopped after they got to know them.

Sunny Austin put in her :twocents: worth and said she can't understand anyone going into a house, snatching a child without anyone hearing them.

Did these folks forget Jessica Lunsford case and even Elizabeth Smart? Yes, Elizabeth's sister witnessed it but do they not realize that if she didn't, it would also be like this case?

OK enough of my rant but what I did find very disturbing (and I'll take the reporting with a grain of salt), was Natisha (NG's producer) said when LE was asked if Isabel was at school on Friday, they didn't want to comment. She also said they called the school and the school refused to comment. Furthermore, family members apparently would not confirm who and when the last person to see Isabel (outside family).

When was the last time Isabel was seen by anyone besides her family? TIA

Thank you, Knox and Dr. Know for live-transcribing the presser...

I agree that it is disturbing that when Isobel was last seen alive by anyone outside of the family should be such a secret...JMO

Watching Jane and they show a photo of the house with the screen down, and next to that photo, the same view of the house without the screen down.

I am beginning to wonder if they photo-shopped the screen in the photo just for illustration purposes.

Has anyone seen a MSM photo of the house with the screen down and against the house?

We don't know. LE keeps evading the question...2 pressers today, the spokesperson said they didn't know whether she was at school on Friday...2nd one said "as far as I know, she was"...UGH.

Hate it when spokespeople are not "up" on the details...different than when they come out and say "we can't answer that" (as in, we know but can't say)...

/rant

They've even not released when Mom saw Isa last. :( UIM, they have said that Dad saw her going to bed at 11pm, and Dad went to wake her up at 8am for softball, and she was gone.

I do think this could be a perfect stranger. I will never forget how Duncan knew everything about the Greone home before he even entered to kidnap Shasta and Dylan. He knew they had dogs how many adults lived there and how many children and where each one slept.

Often even if the blinds are pulled down one can see movement back and forth and know who's room belongs to whom. When it is dark outside and the lights are on inside not many people are peering out their windows to see if anyone is looking in.

IMO

Yeah, he used night vision goggles and spied for days (nights).

Tucson resident here, too. Echo the interest in the uncle. Have since day one. Haven't heard/seen anything about him since the initial video and odd phrases.

Sorry Patty. I'm not watching. But earlier on Vinnie's show, Natisha mentioned they couldn't get close to the home because cops wouldn't let them so they were showing the home from a distance. I didn't see any photos of a window with the screen down when they were showing it on Vinnie's show, fwiw.
