Is that near Isa's home or where the intruder broke into the home with the three children?

I'd say Isabel's area is east-central....i could be wrong. I believe the young girls were farther east IIRC....but i could be directionally challenged

Does anyone have a link to yesterday's news story which stated LE is now going to be interviewing the Celis boys' schoolmates to see if they were posting anything unusual on social media or talking of anything unusual in the week before Isabel went missing???

TIA, I can't find it.

yup, Celis is east-central, yesterday's incident is pretty much northeast...

Keep in mind that today is May Day and not to bring scanner chatter up here, but I have heard some mention on the scanner today about units stationed at "May Day Park" which I think might be something to do with protests.

In between the two areas but I would say closer to catalina/Snyder...which is up in the hills at base of Mt Lemmon

Is it known if the man who molested the three girls removed any window screen before he went in ? He did enter through a window ? TIA

BBM

I think one reason LE was skeptical of Susan Smith from the beginning is that she stated black man stole her car with the children still in it - said she was stopped at an out of the way intersection at a traffic light.
If that were the case, all she had to do was step on the gas and hightail it out of there - crisis averted. Her children would have been alive. No amount of hysterical crying and saying MY BABIES, MY BABIES could make LE believe her.

My point being parents talking to the media, giving interviews cannot IMO indicate whether they are guilty or not guilty.

Susan Smith actually said she was stopped at a red light and that there was no one else around. The sheriff knew she was lying immediately because the road she was on you wouldn't get a red light signal unless someone coming through the opposite way triggered it.

Thank you as living in Florida makes me challenged to the areas.

Snipped & BBM :

:seeya:

Just had an idea, and it is "pretty far out there" : but did they "test" the dogs for "drugs" ? Maybe the perp gave the dog a "treat" and put some "drug" in it so the dog would "mellow out" and not bark ?

I know ... that is "far fetched" ... but nothing would surprise me ...

JMO, but I find it hard to believe that a dog is NOT going to BARK at a "stranger" who enters the dog's "territory" in the middle of the night ...

Sorry for the disruption so back to topic ... Where is Isabel ?

:moo::moo::moo:

It really depends on the dog and how often you have people coming and going from your house. Does it happen all the time or is it a total rarity?

My German Shepherd loses his mind when he hears a car door in front of the house. My husband, who raised him with me, took a contract job that had him away from home for six months. German Shepherd almost bit him when he opened the front door in the middle of the night. Hubby wasn't too impressed with that home coming I can tell ya!

But my Malamute who is younger, stronger, and at this point probably heavier if you tried to bring a dog in this house she would lose her mind. If a total stranger let themselves in the house while I wasn't home I don't think she would even get up to greet them. Totally not in her frame of reference.

It will be a quick one, due to limited info...
Media briefings-we don't see much benefit in having you come in when we can't share much
There IS info but not info we can share

I am not sure I exactly understand your post, but there are no charges as there has been no arrest. The map is for crime prevention purposes only. The link I provided comes with a disclaimer that I suggested posters to read.
The map is made when collecting reports from various agencies. The disclaimer states that information is not always accurate. This is less than 24 hours old, so we don't know real details. I thought it was kind of scary to see that on the map. Other incidents on the map use other language for other types of assaults. What I am saying, is we do not know what kind of crime exactly it is, yet.

 thanks for snapping back in reality.. Of course there isn't a charge because the perp is still on the loose..
So, what that means is that in that exact home there has been a PRIOR forcible rape of a female? .. WoW.. What are the chances a home would be twice a crime scene of rape/molestation.. And is it the same residents?? I'd probably be shocked to learn the chances aren't as slim as I'm assuming them to be..

Anyway, thanks Prof for taking the time to answer my nonsensical question and snap me into reality.. I don't know where my head is these days?!?..on overload I'm afraid..

very limited info they are able to discuss

a lot of info but they cannot share: sensitive nature

cannot share a lot of what detectives are doing: will now be doing media releases vs a presser
