I know curiousity killed the cat? But are there many young girls cases from Washington?
To start with, like around Vancouver or Woodland?
Portland, Oregon area?

I want to know if this dangerous pervert was an onlooker at the ballpark that night.

It's only a speculation of course but my friend who lives in Tucson said many she has talked to since his arrest also believe he was looking for his next prey and spotted little Isa..at the ballpark with her family. Then stealthily followed them home and cased their home out watching from the alley before entering. We don't know of course but I do think that is a reasonable conclusion.

I remember Duncan said he would go to parks and campsites so he could blend in while looking for little children.

I think this sicko is going to turnout to be as depraved and sadistic as JED is.

I am wondering if he will get some kind of plea deal for giving up the location of Isa's body?

I would say...no way. Some cases are just too horrific for the prosecutor to even think of making a deal with the devil. I can't remember a case involving the kidnapping..rape and murder of young children that wound up with a plea deal.

Wait..I do remember one case and that was David Westerfield the pedophile murderer of Danielle van Dam. They were going to take the death penalty off the table if he would tell where he had put her body. She had been missing for 2 weeks. BUT..thank God right before they were to make the deal the searchers found her little body so the DA never took it off. He was convicted and given death. That was CA though and AZ is much different imo.

Maybe if he had come forth right away but not after he knew this beautiful baby girl's little body was destroyed.

I think they are going to attach the death penalty to these two cases.

Could he have been looking to make some kind of deal? I have some information you might want ..........

I think you may be right. He may have had other pending charges and he told them that someone else told him they put Isa..in a certain place. I don't think he implicated himself.

Imo

When he gave them the information about where she was, I don't think in a million years he ever thought it would lead back to him. I think he thought it would be one more way he could get away with a crime. Like he had been doing for soooooo many years.

Look at her little face in her little schoolroom.
It breaks my heart.

In the burglaries allegedly committed by Clements, prosecutors describe a suspect who worked to research his potential victims and set up them up through elaborate schemes. The perp was very clever by using what worked and did not seem to change his methods!

Clements is accused of targeting a Valley elderly couple, both in their 80s, in one case.

A description of one burglary (against the elderly couple) was described in detail in a June court filing:

"(Victims) received a phone call to their home from a blocked number The female caller told them the FedEx had a package for them and they needed to come pick it up...(The victims) asked to speak to a manager, at which time, a male got on the phone and reassured them they both needed to come to FedEx and pick up the package. When asked where the package was from, the male stated he could not divulge that information but that it had something to do with cancer. (One of the victims) has cancer and her daughter recently passed away from cancer, so she and her husband decided they would go to FedEx and pick up the package...When they arrived back at their home, they realized their home had been burglarized when they were gone."

The victims reported thousands of dollars of jewelry were stolen, records show. Phone records and GPS tracking linked the calls to Clements.

In other burglaries, Clements is accused of using the same phone to set up or attempt to set up victims.

I agree and don't believe he knowingly implicated himself. Reportedly, somebody pointed the finger at him first, and perhaps he tripped himself up. If CC was now dealing with 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, these perps all seem to know each other. He had a long criminal history spanning 20 years, and I can't believe how lenient the system was on him. Swift justice, please...

I've not seen that Celis family have issued a statement -- anybody? I don't even know if they are still in Tucson area or not as I believe the boys have graduated and off to Univ by now....

Christopher Clements gave information on Isabel Celis, and, in exchange, prosecutors dismissed at least one burglary case, according to an alleged burglary victim’s attorney.

Isabel Celis was reported missing in April 2012.

The FBI received a tip that Clements had information about Celis. Detectives found her in March 2017.

Prosecutors moved to dismiss 2 burglary charges against Clements on March 30, 2017.

An alleged victim's attorney in one of the cases, Paul Charlton, said the prosecutor told his client the office wanted to drop the charges. In exchange, detectives would receive information on a child’s homicide. The client agreed with dropping the charge. The client did not know it was related to Celis at the time.

Clements was indicted on charges of kidnapping and murdering Isabel Celis, 6, and Maribel Gonzales, 13, last Friday.

He is scheduled to be arraigned on September 24th.

WOW -- he did make a deal in exchange for Isa's location! Thanks for bringing that news report forward @imstilla.grandma I think the perp thought he'd be out on the streets again soon as he'd been on the receiving end of lenient sentences and/or probation for the last 20 years!
Perp got played. Sucker!

The June 2013 abduction and murder of Adrienne Salinas (Tempe, AZ) remains unsolved, as far as I know. LE would need to be run this case through the system as a potential for Christopher Clements.

I feel so terrible about how wrong I was with my theories about this case. I am banging my head on my desk.
I am on pins and needles here.

Me too. I don’t even want to admit what I thought, and it wasn’t even one going with the status quo at the time.

I know. I feel terrible for the theories I had.
I am so sorry for what I thought. I can't even imagine the pain these families have been through.

I wish there was some way to integrate the threads of these two little girls as to all the new breaking details that are so parallel and interwoven.
