Yeah, I don't think that's gonna happen. And if it does happen, like LE's gonna be all, "No probs! He's totes allowed visitors this soon after his arrest and so early in the investigation. And, yes, totally privacy for you both. We'll even deputize you! And no worries, NO cameras and/or sound recording devices will be in the visitor's room. None. Why don't you bring him a cake while you're at it?"

:silly:......really!

I don't mean any disrespect to anyone at all. But that 911 call sounds like a stoner calling to order Pizza. Frantic? I don't hear nothing frantic

Stellar transcription skibaboo :loveyou:

So who were they lying for? Bella, to protect her? Or JR, to protect him?

I think they were lying to protect themselves. Why, or from what I don't know yet but I'd bet dollars to doughnuts it's all about them.

just going to get snacks for the kids at Walmart

"Grogan says she left Isabella and her older sister upstairs with Folster's mother. She claims she did not even know Rector, a family friend, was in the home. Court records, however, state Grogan's two children were downstairs with Rector and three other friends. Grogan says she called police after searching for Isabella for more than 40 minutes. "

Hopefully a local can help me with this question:

In the 911 call, the step-dad mentions 'the river access' - In fact, makes a point of mentioning it while claiming he doesn't know where she could be.

Is this river access close to where the body was found?

Snacks for the kids late at night?!?! Why didn't just he go?? He can't make important decisions like brand of chips or flavor of ice cream??? I can't ... Ugh :silenced:

And her story to news person doesn't match court records ... So which is it??? Or boyfriend's 911 call .. Remember he said kids were downstairs in living room right???

ETA or am I wrong in assuming living room is downstairs?

I just can't put all of this together. However, the mother thinks she is going to go to the jail and visit the murderer and he is going to tell her everything? She "wants him to know why he did this." Odd.

I think she wants to get their stories straight and see if he is going to throw her under the bus.

River runs closer to the house not closer to where body was found. Park along river there.

Something else missing is any sense of urgency in his voice.

And he started alibi-building right off:

911: Okay, how long ago did you see her?

RF: Okay. About an hour, hour and a half ago we went to Walmart, me and my wife and then [unintelligible] her sister called us on the phone saying that she couldn't find her sister so..

He ended up confusing the dispatcher who thought he was telling her that Bella disappeared while at Walmart. Notice he also failed to name her until he was asked and then only gave her last name. And his saying "baby" made my hair stand on end. WTH was that all about? I can't say here what it made me think...

RF: My last name is [name] but the baby's name is Grogan-Cannella.

He's told LE he can't talk about it ((the murder)) and wants a lawyer so he got quiet with LE really quickly -- his hearing is Sept 12......so the heat is on the rest of his ''circle'' for sure. MOO

There was an MSM link on the old thread someone kindly provided and can't find it right now but there were adults in the house that were part of the Stepfather's family or friends of family that were socializing with them while JR was downstairs with the girls. The adults left the house and JR was alone with the girls. Why didn't the mom or step dad check on the girls before they left the house?

Did JR feel slighted that they all left and left him with the girls?? like a built in babysitter ??

I'm wondering ... why Bella? Why not both girls? Thank goodness it WASN'T of course, but why did he choose Bella?

Wait wait wait ... .... Invited to the house for a BBQ? When in the sentence above it says LE has said JR was there for a few days .. Lie built on lies all about to come tumbling down .

I am still speechless. Every time these people open their mouths a new version of events come out. You would think in that two hours they had between the time they "put her to bed" until they "found she wasn't in bed" they would have gotten their damn stories straight.

Not mentioning Rector at all in the 911 call stinks of cover up. Why? Why would they protect him? That guy gave as little information as he could without giving none at all. He was all about alibi, lie and deny.

And I have reported check fraud against my account with more emotion that that dude reported his "baby" being missing, knowing full well that %$#_&^% had her the whole time because they got text messages to that affect.

Prolly cuz she was younger and he figured she wouldn't put up as much of a fight.

Younger, weaker, naive... more easy to manipulate and or transport. Sigh. RIP sweet Bella!

those two links to MSM are the 'latest' I could find,
will be interesting to see if other versions surface from national sources to see if there is any difference in what we are told
