I understood that there is a tentative date of this coming Thursday at 3:30 pm. for the memorial service for Bella

What I find fascinating is that her 'husband's' arraignment was ''continued'' to that date (original arraignment was day of Bella's' disappearance).....

chicken & egg moment here: scheduling a big memorial where the public is invited AND your husband's arraignment (continued by grace of the judge) is same day?? hmmmm

either a blatant ploy for another continuance or intentional double booking to create drama and chaos MOO

TG just continues to dig herself a deeper hole.

Ignoring that discrediting the one person who was awake and present (essentially) when Bella was last seen AND went missing is going to decrease any minimal public sympathy she (TG) has at this point, none of what she (or her 'crew') says makes any sense.

The 10 yr old's account is the one thing that is currently placing TG (etc) out of the house when Bella went missing. Presumably Walmart video will either confirm or deny that - along with the timeline - but really, it's only the 10 yr old who has actually KEPT TG etc 'off the hook' really in terms of not having been there.

The more she raises questions over the 10 year old's credibility, the more that she's bordering on implicating herself more. And again, of course losing sympathy by dissing the one person who is probably dealing with the most guilt since there's no doubt she's got people commenting about if she'd only not gone to the bathroom them or whatever that maybe it'd not have happened. Obviously I do NOT think that's the case, but given the nonsense being spewed, there's no doubt people were saying things along those lines.

Then there's the issue that CPS got involved very quickly. How does mom even know how stressed she is or what she is or is not even saying at this point? The 10 year old isn't even with her!

And while I'm sure that's in part because of safety concerns and the necessary investigation, there's little doubt it was also done to prevent her testimony from being impacted by the group of liars she's been surrounded with.

LE has got to love her "media tour"...for those who wondered why obstruction charges hadn't been possibly filed, I still think they are going to let her continue to talk because it's only making things worse for herself and she's sure looking like she's going to implicate herself beyond possibly 'just' possible obstruction charges.

Frankly I also think they knew as soon as they said not to talk to media that they knew she'd go out and do just that. She CLEARLY thinks she's above the law AND smarter than they are.

If they really didn't want her to talk, they'd have done something after the first (or second or third or...) interviews.
Thank you for reminding me of another potential assist in the defense:

By publicly discrediting her daughter - the sole witness placing the suspect at the scene and missing at the same time, she is AGAIN helping a the person who murdered her child to be found not guilty based on reasonable doubt.

I don't however, think LE is allowing TG to speak to the media so they may build a case of obstruction against her, when her conflicting statements are hurting their case for kidnapping and murder against JJR. IMO, they want her to shut up because it is helping a killer walk free.

The 10 year old was not only the first person to tell LE that JR was mixed up in this, she was the one responsible for very accurately reporting what Bella was last seen wearing.

But she's ten, under a lot of stress, and doesn't know what the heck she was saying.

TRUTH, TG, she was saying the truth.

Hello

I have been reading this thread for the past few days. Brand new to your site and ordinarily wouldn't dream of getting into discussions such as this, but this one hit too close to home. I lived in Bullhead for 18 years and only just last year moved out of state. My house was on the topside of the wash where Bella was found. I was very hesitant to begin this post. I have read the forum rules and I believe I am okay to paste the following link. If it is inappropriate to post it, please feel free to do away with it. I haven't read every post on this site, so perhaps someone has already noted it and I just did not see it.

https://www.facebook.com/mohavevalleydailynews

What I found interesting and rather frightening was an image underneath the second article showing the car wash, is a part of someone's facebook page, then the comment underneath it.

I do not know these people (Bella's family and their cohorts). Many look familiar, but spending that much time in a town such as this, (and some late WalMart nights, myself), one is bound to see just about everyone at one time or another.

I hope this is not only appropriate, but of interest. Thank you for letting me put my "two cents worth" in.

I pray that child gets lots and lots of love -- support and counselling to overcome the damage......

Sadly, this young lady will bare the brunt of having to be responsible for the timeframe and suspect's whereabouts on the stand. Key evidence for a conviction. It's not enough that she has lost her sister, had to relocate AGAIN, had her mother tell the world she was not telling the truth, but now has to be able to hold up under cross examination defending her account of that night so that her sister's murderer is found guilty.

My heart absolutely breaks for her.

I think it's the possibility for more than obstruction...the mention of possible additional arrests also seems to include that possibility.

If it were only possibly obstruction, I think they probably could have gone that route earlier.

And as I said, I truly think if they wanted her quieted, they'd have gone to her again after her first interview (which now we're on round what? 6? 7?) and told her why she needed to stop talking and that it could jeopardize a conviction, etc. After all, she's said she wants justice, etc.

Hi annie1978, and welcome. I think many of us have already seen this and that makes this whole nightmare for poor Bella even that much more heartbreaking.

Here in the great white north, after a suspect is in custody, LE can no longer publicly discuss details of the case as it is before the court and could hinder prosecution. Victim's family's are doubly invested in ensuring prosecution is air-tight and are told not to speak to media.

This is why I am so boggled in this case - TG is HELPING Defence Counsel by providing several alternate versions of the events that tragic night. She is handing them reasonable doubt.

I suspect "reasonable doubt" will be moot after DNA results become available.

Re: the alleged text message we've all read was sent to "family members" from JRR admitting he had Bella, and asking "what are you going to do about it". I find this statement from TG's mom to Nancy Grace rather illuminating:

"They took her, they took her. I won't do anything bad anymore. They got Bella"

Let's assume for a moment, the text message was real exactly as Bella's sister said it was. None of us know what the entire message was. Assuming there was a threat made it makes the bolded section above make SO much sense.

Why else would TG call her own mom (who according to TG was never a mother to her) and say "I wont do anything bad anymore" ??

And my next question is, why of all people would TG call her mom, who was never a mother to her, and tell HER, she won't do anything bad anymore?

I'm not implying a thing here but in cases of child abuse where the child is being hurt or threatened it's not at all uncommon for some children to cry out the very same statement, hoping to appease their abuser. I just can't shake the wording of that comment.

Not necessarily. If he implicates the parents in the kidnapping charge and even the murder charge, pleading to unlawful disposing of a body, he *might* stand a chance. He can say he only helped with the body (provided no sexual assault DNA is recovered) providing explanation for the victims DNA and given the parent's hinky stories, he might just have enough for reasonable doubt. Reasonable Doubt does not mean he is innocent - just that there is enough doubt created to dismiss the charge.

Bottom line - The mother needs to shut up if she wants to ensure a conviction.

FTR, I think its entirely possible that TG thought JJR had left already, just as she stated re: the glass door, etc.
In all fairness, TG did leave the residence, but there was an another adult in the house.

But the other adult was in a different part of the house and supposedly in bed sleeping.

And apparently that other adult was a very sound sleeper since we've been told by TG and her own son that she was still asleep during the 911 call...

Meaning she slept through the supposed 40 minute search of the residence, TG's reported wailing, and apparently enough so that they didn't rouse her to question her and if she saw/heard anything.

Seems odd to me to consider a (heavily) sleeping adult as someone supervising two elementary age kids who were known to be awake in a different part of the house from 11 pm -1 am ish...

Which, of course, is also problematic since initially it said that the 10 year old actually woke/talked to the 'grandmother' before calling her mom.

http://www.jrn.com/ktnv/news/Police...arrest-in-Bullhead-City-murder-274120571.html

At some point, most of the adults left the house. Before leaving, Grogan told the two girls to watch a movie downstairs. Foster's mother was upstairs in bed.

Bella's sister told police she and her sister were playing hide and seek. She decided to go to the bathroom and when she came out, she could not find her sister.

The sister notified Foster's mother and then called her mother. The other adults returned home and they began looking for Bella. When they were unable to locate her, they contacted police at about 1:30 a.m

I wonder how the girls did in school if it was apparently not out of the norm for them to be up till 1 am on a school night watching movies unsupervised?

Having taught for years, it was easy to tell if any of the kids had even just been up a bit later than normal. Most would have been an utter mess if they'd been up till 1 or 2 am (as the adults have admitted they returned home from their 90+ minute 'snack run' when they did only because of the phone call from the 10 yr old...)

This was after he had allegedly been cleared by the FBI

The questions remains - if he is homeless and no one else would let him stay at their house, where did he go to use a desk-top?

He obviously had access to something that allowed him to get online...

He was posting on FB (and more than once) after being released.

Hence my belief that he had a smart phone.

Could a mod or someone that knows let me know if this is allowed? Is Tania's Facebook allowed to be talked on about on here?

Can I just say, THANK YOU for being a teacher?! Its is one if the hardest and most nobel professions one can take on. Teachers help guide our children to who they become, get lousy pay and worse benefits, all because they care enough about our kids to try. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
