"Family of Jhessye Shockley suspicious that missing girl's mom had something to do with disappearance"
Part of the article reads, "Brenda Hunter, Jerice's aunt, says she believes Jerice might have had something to do with Jhessye's disappearance."
It goes on to say, "The family tells ABC15 Jerice hasn't answered her door or their phone calls for two weeks."
There is also an accompanying video.
I feel so bad for the family members that are being turned away by Jerice, but I am proud of them for speaking up for Jhessye. May God bless them, comfort them and give them the answers they are seeking about precious little Jhessye.

Here's another one of those awful missing child cases where a lot of people close to the investigation feel strongly that the parent has harmed her child. There doesn't seem to be a lot of room for doubt anymore...IMHO. JH's own family members are suspicious and they are definitely not supportive, her behavior is screaming out that she's guilty of something, and CPS has stepped in and taken the new baby because they felt it was necessary.
It appears that LE was looking for a body versus a living child before most people wanted to accept that possibility.
This all bad for Jhessye.
We are not going to get one of those happy endings we all hope for, and it appears that other family members have accepted that as well. I get the feeling that the majority of JH's family knew right from the start that JH might have harmed Jhessye, and that she hadn't been abducted. It has to be so hard for them.
It's another sad, heartbreaking case. Jhessye's sweet little face just haunts me.
