Has MOM ever taken a poly?
If not WHY?

28 days since Jhessye went missing!!!

As Jerice's polygraph date draws near, seems she has all but isolated herself and shut off most contact.

Neighbor's are saying there is a rumor circulating that Jhessye was sold. LE will neither confirm or deny. They say they are continuing to investigate all possibilities.

Something is up, the silence is deafening!!

Oh I have been so afraid of that since early on... b/c this case reminds me so much of Shaniya. I pray that is not true. I'm not sure which would be worse, to be honest, b/c if she were sold she's not gonna be around long anyway.

Why do people have to do stuff like this? Why???

Exactly! Wanting national attention, getting it (AMW even), and then go into hiding? I don't get this . . .

Yeah. Does anyone else think the intention of G'ma and JH was to steal Jahessye's spotlight? Since I've been so busy, I was trying to keep up with Jahessye's case and several others via Google searches. Most of the articles on Jahessye that I've found address G'ma and JH's contention that Jahessye is being ignored in the media because of race. I only read today that Jahessye may have been missing as long as ten days. My heart sank, even further than it did last week when I read that the lead detective assigned to the case is a homicide detective.

It's one thing to shake up the media to get the disappearance of a little girl into the public eye. But, once you have the media's attention, why continue to focus on the race issue rather than on the precious little girl who's missing? The only answer I can come up with is: to keep the focus off of the details surrounding Jahessye's disappearance.

If it's true, I hope LE can find Jahessye before it's too late. From the beginning, this case reminded me of Zahra Baker's disappearance - I guess, because of the allegations of parental abuse and the hope that some kind soul had rescued her. I hope this has a better outcome. It just makes me so sick to think what might have happened to Jahessye.

ITA. I'm so afraid of what they're going to find when they find her.

The silence IS deafening. IMO-instead of more "missing children's laws" SOMEONE needs to write a law DEMANDING that these so-called parents MUST help LE find these littleones-especially when they depend on our government for food, housing, medical care....etc.

checking in and bumping for little Jhessye. Wish there were some good news.

  • #172
Somebody knows something and they need to call in or tell someone else so....they can. I woke up this morning..feeling like, if they offer some more cash...we will get a break. That's so sad.

bumping up for you sweet Jhesseye!

Wow, it would appear after grandma Johnson's meeting with CPS regarding her grandchildren's removal from adult daughter Jerice, grandma J is suddenly completely silent. No more pleas for Jhessye's return, no more accusations of wrongdoing by officials investigating. A BIG FAT NADA.

And mother Jerice's silence continues, unabated. Not one friggin word since the CPS meeting with Mrs. J, that I can see.

So sad. I so want to have hope this beautiful little girl is out there somewhere, alive. But like many others here, I don't even feel sure that Jhessye was alive that day to "go missing". I feel mom harmed her, fatally, and she was never in that house that afternoon.

I want to see some sort of action on this one. This silence is just maddening.

IMO the silence from grandmother, Mrs. Johnson is very telling and supports our belief that Jerice was not supposed to even have her chidlren in the first place.

Given how very vocal Mrs. Johnson has been from day one, tossing blame in every direction but her daughter's, I think nothing short of the threat of criminal action could have silenced her.

Nothing new today, bumping for Jhessye!!!

Poor baby, I cannot believe this dropped like a rock. I want to know why.
Something happened with Grandma.

Fine. But what about the story, what about the other relatives.

I wonder have they started quietly searching the landfill.

"Family of Jhessye Shockley suspicious that missing girl's mom had something to do with disappearance"

Part of the article reads, "Brenda Hunter, Jerice's aunt, says she believes Jerice might have had something to do with Jhessye's disappearance."
It goes on to say, "The family tells ABC15 Jerice hasn't answered her door or their phone calls for two weeks."

There is also an accompanying video.

I feel so bad for the family members that are being turned away by Jerice, but I am proud of them for speaking up for Jhessye. May God bless them, comfort them and give them the answers they are seeking about precious little Jhessye.
