AMBER ALERT: 5-year-old and 8-year-old taken from Phoenix shooting scene

Authorities have issued an Amber Alert for two boys who were allegedly taken from the scene of a deadly double shooting in Phoenix early Saturday morning.

Around 4:30 a.m., officers responded to a home near 33rd Avenue and Van Buren Street after receiving reports of a shooting.

According to a Phoenix police spokesman, when officers arrived at the scene they found a man and 24-year-old woman dead, after suffering gunshot injuries.

Two kids, 5 and 8-year olds Jonathan and Victor Coronado Nunez, may have been taken from the scene this morning, officials said.

The boys are the sons of the female victim and the man who was shot is the woman's roommate, officials said.

The man died at the scene, officials said. The woman was taken to the hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Amber Alert issued for 2 missing Phoenix boys after mother killed in shooting

According to Sgt. Armando Carbajal the roommate of the female victim came home from work and found the female victim and a man dead and the two boys missing.

Phoenix police say the father, identified as 47-year-old Dimas Coronado-Nunez may be driving a 2009 white Chevrolet Silverado 4-door pickup truck,lifted with custom rims with a Arizona temporary license plate 43644T.

Anyone with information on the boys' whereabouts is asked to call Phoenix PD.

Nuñez is 5' 4" tall, 180 lbs, he has brown eyes and bron hair. He wears glasses at times.

Police say they’ve been called to the residence multiple times in the past for domestic violence.

DETAILS: On 8/31/18 Jonanthan Nunez-Coronando (5) and Victor Nunez-Coronado (8) were last seen in the area of 3200 West Van Buren Street in Phoenix, Arizona. It is believed that the children are with their biological father, Dimas Coronado. He may have fled to Mexico with the children.

The Latest: Truck found but no sign of father, missing boys

Phoenix police say a pickup truck belonging to a man sought for questioning in the disappearance of his two young sons and the killing of the boys' mother and another person has been found about six blocks from the home of the victims and the boys.

Sgt. Armanda Carbajal says a person reported the location of the truck but there was no sign of the 5- and 8-year-old boys and their father, 47-year-old Dimas Coronado.

The way they made it sound on the news this morning that the mother and "her boyfriend" were killed. I wonder who the father was of the baby she was carrying, who was also murdered?

Woman was pregnant; estranged husband sought in 3 killings

A woman who was killed along with a male renter in her Phoenix home was pregnant, and the woman's estranged husband is sought on three murder charges and the possible abduction of their two sons, police said Sunday.

U.S. and Mexico authorities were seeking Dimas Coronado, 47, on a murder warrant, and Amber Alerts were posted in both countries amid efforts to locate two boys the couple had together, Phoenix police Sgt. Armando Carbajal said.
