Man missing in Tonto National Forest near Weaver's Needle

Khayman Welch, 25, was last seen Aug. 12 at Weaver's Needle Vista Viewpoint near State Route 88 in Tonto National Forest.

A man went missing after he was seen on Wednesday in Tonto National Forest about 7:15 p.m., according to officials.

Khayman Welch, 25, was last seen walking southeast from the parking area at Weaver's Needle Vista Viewpoint near State Route 88 in the forest, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office described Welch as a 6-foot-tall, 200-pound white man with brown hair and hazel eyes.
