IMO, nobody has to fear actual violence from Lori. As we all know, she doesn't get her hands dirty. She would be more of an escape risk I think. I would be looking around the courtroom for someone she may have wooed into doing her dirty work. I wonder how closely they check her in ingoing/outgoing mail?

I believe a lot of the time it's family members or considerate defense attorneys who provide if a defendant doesn't have resources. So, as she's representing herself, she might have limited options.
