As I said before - it's Lori's world, we're all just living, or dying, in it.

It's a very pure narcissism she exhibits.

MOO

LVD very quickly interrupts, "thank you, that's enough" when NJ testifies that she told Kay Woodcock that she had dinner with CV the night before he died and just wanted her to express her condolences and to let Kay know how much CV had told her he loved JJ."

IMO... LVD is going to shoot herself in the foot with her whole narrative about how the Chandler PD didn't start investigating her for this crime until years later. If she keeps pushing that, it's inevitably going to come up WHY they "suddenly" started looking more deeply into this incident. Especially since the jury's allowed to ask questions.

One of Lori's former pals is next on the stand. I think zombies might get an introduction. I guess ZP and MG were too busy to testify.

My comment is twords this ignorant attorney. One of the first adjectives out of this attorney's mouth is the word attractive. 😡
The very kind of questions she's asking show that she ISN'T smart as he thinks.

The juror's question of NJ about whether CV had ever expressed "verbal indications of his stress."

I wonder if the juror is thinking that CV may have arrived at LVD's home that morning in a state of stress that SUPPORTS LVD's version of events as described in her opening statement (that CV got aggressive with and was screaming at her).

I may be confused by what I already know, but my gut response to that information was to think they wondered if he was stressed because he thought she was going to kill him and he said something to that effect. I bet there was another part to the question that was not permitted, and this was the broadest portion of the question. The asker may now be aware that it is off limits to inquire specifically, and they may wonder why.

That is a pretty hopeful interpretation of very little information on my part, though.

Lori has no questions for her friend!

Here is a great demonstration of what type of zap Lori may get from the belt she is wearing if she happens to misbehave.

I have been waiting for the crazy to come out!

The jury has got to be sensing by now that there is MUCH more to this story than they are being made privy to.

This witness,Christina, does not seem to be well prepped. Or is it just me.

  • #597
Agree, she can't seem to remember details

There is about 15 minutes of testimony from Christina that has no audio.

Court is done for the day. It seems a bit early, but we have a lot to discuss.
The gall of Lori to act like Nancy Jo Hancock was so horrible because she was dating a "married man". REALLY. Lori was flat-out having an affair with Chad Daybell. Charles knew the marriage was over. Good for him for going out and trying to find a decent woman instead of his crazy wife who was sleeping with Chad. Here is one exchange. Thanks to Fox 10 for the video

Christina was an important witness because she introduced the incriminating facts that Alex wanted to kill Charles and that Lori was crushing pills and putting them into Charles' smoothies.
