Lori wanted Melanie to be part of the cult. She indoctrinated her niece who saw Lori as a mother (Melanie said so). Lori had to get Melanie away from Brandon. She convinced her she was part of the 144,000 but that Chad being a prophet said Brandon was “dark” and should die. Lori told Melanie that Brandon was gay. Brandon traveled for work. I think there was a picture posted of him with friends who went into a gay bar and were laughing and took a picture. Melanie believed Lori about everything but she now says she knows they were part of a cult. Chad even told Melanie two of her children were dark and they had to die also. Melanie would have fallen along. Her husband Ian is the one who realized it was all wrong when his ex wife told him some things )as they were all LDS and told Ian he couldn’t see his own children. She was terrified. You have to go back and study their beliefs. It would be hard for me to ever fall for that crap. Some people are vulnerable.
Lori wants to convince the jury Brandon is gay and maybe that’s why her brother tried to kill him. Not sure where she’s going with this. She’s sick.
Truth is the cult wanted his life insurance money and life insurance money on Melanie and Brandon’s kids. That’s why she killed Charles. And she is justified because Charles was dark, as declared by Chad. So was Tylee and JJ and Tammy.
Alex was their hit man.

Lori's hatred is on display. IMO she hates him. For not being dead. Crazy victim blaming I've ever witnessed. She loathes him.

And she wants everyone to know about this supposed video which proves he's gay. I can't believe she's been allowed to keep saying it, despite sustained objections. 1. If he were gay, he can be. Move on. 2. But he's not gay but it's an allegation that has barbs, relative to his church standing iiuc. She knows it hurts him, so she keeps saying it.

And then to suggest she didn't tell MB that, that God Himself whispered it to her, I just can't with this woman.

She will stop at nothing.

LVD's conspiracy argument is nonsensical: BB damaged his own Tesla, then called the police and made up a story about a Jeep that wasn't actually there, just to frame LVD for breaking up his marriage?

BB is killing it with this cross-examination. Kudos to him for not giving her an inch with her "we were besties!" narrative.

LVD's cross-examinations are so tedious. I swear she recaps everything the prosecution said just to give herself more "screen time."

The stupid nitpicking over whether BB said MP had a "friend named Lori" or an "aunt" is absurd. What's that supposed to prove?

I love that LVD got a "time-out" today. Good on the judge for drawing a line.

LVD is getting so snappy with BB! Has she forgotten that the jury is right there watching?? They can see her attacking BB, barely bothering to hide her contempt for him, while he's sitting there as the picture of patience and level-headedness. The jury is going to see this and see very clearly who the victim and who the attacker is in this case.

I would love to know what her advisors have been telling her. Because either they're terrible at what they're doing or she's totally ignoring them. If they saw her line of questioning beforehand they should have told her most of it would be disallowed. Same with her opening statement.
